very informative......
Most speed problems are due to not being properly set up. If you know what you are doing, you won't run into problems. Another even better way out is to purchase it from a reputable angel dealer. TAG comes to mind here. He will set it up for you so that all you need to do is add air, add paint, charge marker and have fun.
I was looking at getting either a la-soya timmy, FLy IR3, speed, E-mag, or a Trix. I test fired all of them except the e-mag. I ended up buying a Speed & todate, no regrets. The main thing is to get it set up right.

meowwwwwww: For one, NO, your hp screw-in will work fine with the speed. Secondly, I can only entertain one of two options when it comes to your max-flo.

The first being that you bought it from someone who didnt take care of it and you are/were not willing to perform the needed maintenance; or that you just don't know what you are doing and/or talking about.

Quick Question Regarding efficiency.

I took a look at the TAG link about the Dirt Volumizers.

After adding volumizer gun was shooting in the 330fps range. We then started lowering the input pressure to get the velocity under the 300 mark. We got a steady 290fps shot with 260psi going into the gun at this point

Would this be more efficient then:

We then increased the dwell to 11 (from the original 8) and our velocity increased again to the 330+ mark. After making several input pressure adjustments we finally settled at 175psi for a 290+/- shot.

Cheers,

Paul.

Could someone post some Info on how to set up your Speed.

Like what to adjust, I know velocity is adjusted via the Mini reg, but do you have to set up the LPR, etc.

Edit-And the manuel doesn't go in deep how to set it up, I"ve read Ken Cranes set up tips on what dwell should be and the like.
