CO2 Question...

I'm planning on selling my 20oz. CO2 bottle since I no longer use it. I know that I must ship the tank empty but I need to know...

Is the only way to drain a CO2 tank is to shoot it through your gun or is there another way??

Thanks.

take your asa off your gun and take the hose off the asa then screw the tank in

Or a simpler way would be to just find an allen key and depress the valve pin with it.

In Christ.

If you don't have a spare ASA, you can loosen the burst disc enough to let pressure escape. once the co2 has vented, tighten the burst disc again.

Make sure that you do use an on/off asa, open it just enough that you hear teh gas leaking, and not full bore, otherwise you'll freeze the tank so fast you wont be able to handle it for a while.

The real question is will you be getting enough money to justify driving down to the P.O., and paying for shipping charges to even sell it? They go for like $10....

if you have a macroline just pop one side of the hose out then just leave it a little more than leaking.if you dont have an on off, just use a allen key and depress the pin on the top of the reg.<<<make sure if you do that keep it facing up or else liqud co2 will come out
