"Warriors" @ Quickshot Paintball - 11/11/12

We've all seen the cult classic film of the "Warriors"....if you havent then you should....

New York, 1979.
A battle on the streets.
The armies of the night number 60,000 strong,
...and tonight they're all after The Warriors
- a street gang wrongly accused of killing a rival gang leader.

The Warriors must make their way from one end of New York
to their turf on the other side of the city.
All that stands between The Warriors and their survival are 20 miles
and thousands of street gang members.

The army of gangs owns the streets and there's no turning back.
They must fight for their lives and learn the meaning of loyalty
as danger and uncertainty emerge from the city night.

This format will consist of 4 gangs numbering 35 strong each. There are 3 turfs( Flags) across the boroughs of Manhattan, Bronx, and Brooklyn. One gang will Start out as the Warriors and will have 10 minutes to rumble with another gang that is defending their turf (flag). If the Warriors succeed in pulling the flag, they continue on to the next turf where the next gang is waiting and will rumble for the next flag. Object is to rumble past all four gangs to make it home to Coney Island. Every team will be rotated to run as the Warriors and to defend different turf/flags through out the day.

Winner is the gang with the most Points at the end of the day.

scoring:

Flag pulls are 50 / 100 / 150
5 points for every gang member alive at each flag pull.
The Warriors will get a respawn with each successful flag pull.

Each rumble has a 10min time limit
Launchers are allowed (molotov cocktail) - 1 launcher per gang/ 3 rockets per rumble

Quickshot Paintball , Shamong NJ
Entry is $25 before November 8th...$35 after
Paint is $50 for mid grade and $60 for high grade

Rodney Clarke (Disposable Heroes) leads "The Gramercy Riffs"
Dean Johnson (Team Hellbent) leads "The Rogues"
Eric Goins (Bezerkers) leads "The Boppers"
Angel Nieves (TTT's) leads the "Baseball Furies"

Each gang will start with a 35 player cap for reg.

Someone please tell me the rumor about Quick shot burning down is untrue!! I hope for everyone's sake this is a horrible rumor. It is a great field, good people, and great store.

Huh? That's the first I have heard of it. Hehe. That has no truth to it what so ever. We are here and fine. I would love to know who started that one.

Glad to hear it!! I love playing there! You guys are all great people too which makes it even better!

Not sure how it got started. A friend of mine heard from someone else that says they live in the area. They must have seen a different building or something. I had to go to the source right away! Glad everything is OK! See you guys soon!

Just thinking about this more I bet I know how and why. The old gas station that we were in 4 years ago did have a big fire and most of the building burnt down. That was back in April. They never took down our QuickShot sign that was out on their post. I bet someone who didn't know we moved just drove by and saw the sign and building and thought we still worked out of that place. Like I said that happened back in April. We are just fine in our new location.

As per your first post have no worries, if we ever did burn or anything else, that's what insurance is for. Trust me I have plenty of it. We would end up being bigger and better.

Cant stress enough to make sure teams get their players signed up early. We have a team cap and game cap so if you want to make sure you get in and play for your gang, get signed up ASAP!.... Dont miss out!

Yes, players respawn between rumbles. There will be time allowed to air/pod up, but I won't give an exact time because I don't know. Lou will have to answer that.

What time does the game actually start? I know it says 7 but im pretty sure the game doesnt start then
