Evening Bill! I have an 06 ego that I am bringing back from the brink but I have a slight valve leak. If I move the bolt upward it seals but once I let it go it starts to leak again. So far I have changed the valve, the rammer housing orings and the rammer orings. I am hoping the housing is not shot but I'm not sure what else to check. Any words of wisdom?
Thank you in advance!

First off, from reading all your posts, I have seen alot of "solved" afterwards, awesome to hear. Thank you for what you do.
I have an 06 ego that I am getting back to game shape. Bought a PE rebuild kit and the gold "something" lub. I matched up all old rings with manual (I think) and replaced all I could one at a time. Aired the gun up, instant leaks all over. Leaks out of LPR until I screw adjuster all the way out. Once that stops, I get another one right where the inline meets the gun housing. I also lightly oiled o rings and moving metal parts. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
ok I have gotten the leak to stop by changing the valve guide, now when i start to air it up, all the air leaks out of one of the two holes of the screw in tank essembly at the bottom of the gun.

I think I have found the cause of my leak. For some reason, the front of the rammer housing does not have the radius milled in for the poppit to seat correctly. The top of mine is smooth which I think is part of my problem. have you ever seen something like this? I have worked on a bunch of egos and this is a first for me...
Thanks!

I have no clue what to do to fix the leak

Just picked up an 07 Ego and I'm trying to adjust the trigger. Does anyone know which allen key (size) is required to adjust trigger travel?

Bill,
Just brought out my Ego6 and am having trouble with the trigger getting stuck on the back of the trigger frame. It is acting like there is paint stuck somewhere in the trigger, but i took it apart as much as i could and it is all clean. Another way to describe it is when i pull the trigger, it takes a good full 1-2 seconds for it to release back out to be fired again. Thanks for anything

To verify it is a leak from the top side of the marker, take the barrel off the gun. Make sure there is no paint in the marker and gas it up. Now listen to the front of the gun. Pull the bolt pin up so the bolt and rammer are no longer connected. Push the bolt forward and see if it gets louder.
The leak down the barrel is one or more of the following issues....
- Change the #8 oring on the front of your rammer (page 48/49 of the manual).
- Change the 2 #16 orings on the rammer housing (page 51, Figure 6.48 of the manual).
- Change the exhaust valve (poppit)
- Inspect the rammer housing valve face. If it is scratched, nicked or worn, it may need to be refaced by a machine shop.
If it gets louder when you push the bolt forward it is one of the last three.

20K is about right but I would recommend taking the battery out during the week. This will eliminate any extra drain on the battery when not in use.

Unfortunately sounds like you didnt do a very good job of matching orings. In the back of the manual there is an oring size chart or you can print one online. Here is a list of what sizes go where...
(2) #4 - top of front reg mount
(3) #6 - Inline reg adjuster and OOPS insert
(2) #8 - front rammer oring and OOPS insert
#9 - middle rammer oring
(2) #10 - LPR body inner oring and HPR lower body inner oring
(2) #11 - rear rammer oring and rammer cap
#12 - LPR adjuster piston oring
#13 - LPR piston oring
#14 - top of front reg mount
#15 - HPR piston oring
(5) #16 - Rammer housing orings, LPR body oring & Inline swivel orings (if applicable).

All EGO6 housings are milled smooth. Is there any nicks in the sealing surface?

You can try a screw extractor but at events we snap the covers in half and replace. Problem is color matching.
