What do these names mean to you?

I was at Chicago Psp when I noticed people yelling Chicago, Omaha and baby. I have no idea what these mean.

those are usually code names that the team made up so the other teams coach does not know what the other team is saying and cant relay it to his team. I saw a youtube video i think of vicious? not sure though thatone year they used omaha to say that someone is going snake corner so everone will shoot there. They change the meaning every tourney so other teams dont catch on.

But to answer your question, those names are used as code names for that team that they decided to use

"Omaha" is code for D50. That's typically associates with Vicious. I have no idea what "baby" is.

We use baby for the mini race. Every team has it's own codes for different things.

What about 1, 2, 3... I heard this in the final game dynasty vs RL?

I know what G1 or G2 is but they were saying 1 tape and 3 carwash 2 inside?

Do they assign players numbers? or is it easier for them to use numbers and not names?

That's the beauty of coming up with a code, the other guy has no idea, or at least less of an idea what you're trying to say. No need to spend a ton of time trying to figure out what they were saying.

You could use 1, 2, 3 for G-count, live bodies, even depth placement on the field; 1 for back line, 2 for the 20 and so on. I was on a team that used a number system for bunkers. 1, 2, 3 would've been the back line then 21, 22, 23 etc. for the next set of bunkers up field. That system tends to lend itself to fields that are poorly mirrored, or use non traditional setups where there may not be a well defined snake or dorito side.

Ok makes sense.... I like the idea of using code like this but your team would have to practice alot together to really get this... Great idea for teams that practice alot mine doesnt HAHA

Just keep the code simple. Bunker positions are probably the biggest thing you want to keep to yourself, just cook up a little something using terms you're all familiar with, maybe you all like a certain movie or TV show or know some of the same people etc. Something like that you could pick up fairly quickly without needing tons of practice.
