okay so this may be a really dumb question buttttt how do i put the frame back on the body of my indy?? i took it apart and now im having a lot of trouble putting it back on

okay i got a 06 interceptor here using a WAS board with a mac noid. The gun will turn on and the eyes will function properly but once i push the switch the board shuts off
i am assuming that somehow the switch is shorting out the power put i can't figure out how.
could it possibly be that my harness is bad?
if i remember right i believe i used this board in a 05 just recently and the board function properly with a humphrey noid and the other switch.

okay i know it isn' the switch and this leaves me to believe that its the noid but how?

i don't think it's the noid coz it doesn't control the board, but the other way around - the board controls its operation.

few things u can try here..
- check batt harness connector, loose head/clip can make it turn off by itself
- also try cleaning the board (i use electronic circuit contact spray) as small/fine debris might short out the board

okay i found this out while playing with it
like i said before the eyes work so i had them being able to read one another so the board thinks that there is nothing in the chamber and i'll pulled the switch and the board would register that i tried firing the gun but once i blocked the eyes it immediatly shut off.

Shouldn't unless the eyes see the ball if you are not using air then misfire means LED goes to yellow

You pull the trigger and the board huts off? If pulling the trigger shut the board off you may have short in the wires between the board and the solenoid.
If something else is happening then you have to be more specific Blinking green is no ball. Strobeing green is ball present

yes blinking green means that there is no ball and strobe is that there is a ball but when it is blinking green and i try to pull the trigger the board won't shut off once i make it strobe green and pull the trigger it shuts off

I'm alittle confused on what you've been describing. Are you saying the eyes shut off or the board powers off when you pull the trigger?

Short between board and solenoid - disconnect wires at splice, doesn't tun off then sort. Still turns off then boards is fried

Yeah...I would also say it's a short. Check to make sure your board isn't shorting on the grip frame and make sure you don't have any exposed wires shorting some where. If your not really good with teching guns I would let someone help you.

okay i'll disconnect noid and see if it still shuts off
can you repair a fried board? because spending 80 bucks on a board wasn't in the game plan on rebuilding this gun

okay it isn't the board it has to be the MAC noid.
i disconnected the noid from the harness and the board worked fine. i blocked the eyes, the board recognized that, pulled the switch and it tried to fire the noid. wired the noid back on and it just shut off. i don't think noid had polarity so but just for the hell of it i switched the wires around and it still didn't work.
Jack is there anyway i can send this noid or all the electronics to you and have you guys figure it out?

Just out of curiosity.......are you using a mac noid with a board meant for a humphrey noid? If so your board will shut down. If that isn't the original board that came with the gun then that might be your problem.

i'll give it a try and see if it makes a difference
i bought a 05 and a 06 at the same time that both needed rebuilt so the boards may have gotten switched. now wouldn't it be vice versa if i wired up a mac board to humphrey noid would the board shut off as well?

No - the higher power - with a capacitor - willl power either one
