Shocker NXT aluminum eigenbolt installation guide

I bought a used 2009 Shocker NXT recently and got a new aluminum eigenbolt for it. I searched the web and sent an email to Lurker Paintball, but I haven't been able to find an installation guide for the bolt. I'm quite new to the sport and I don't want to mess up my marker by assembling the new bolt incorrectly.

I don't know if this thread is still active - most recent post I noticed was from 2011 - but I'm taking a chance anyways.

Anyone could help? A guide with picture would be a nice thing to have on hand. If there is none, I'd be willing to contribute by taking pictures of my own efforts with the bolt.

One website you should really look at is zdspb.com

Go to marker tech and select the nxt shocker.

This is an installation guide per say, however it will show you how to: disassemble and reassemble your shocker; properly maintain it; regular service; trouble shooting; design theory.... It's an amazing resource.

And keep in mind there is only 1 oring on the eigenbolt unlike normal HE style bolts that have 3.

Nxt Shocker, leaks from solenoid when pressurized over 120 from HPR. If the operating pressure is at 140 psi it will leak and once it leaks down to 120 it will stop leaking. Can only get a velocity of about 220 fps. Starting to think the solenoid is starting to go bad.

Does not leak anywhere from bolt and regulator was just cleaned and lubed.

Any insight would be appreciated.

I recently got my 05 Dynasty fixed. When I got the gun back I aired it up and then had to adjust the regulator to increase the velocity. Nothing has changed internally as far as I know except the o-rings on the bolt. However when the gun worked before the pressure was usually set at around 150ish, now I have to crank it all the way up to nearly 280psi, just to get 290fps out of it. Not sure what I need to do to be able to get the psi back down to were it was before. It also seems like its an air hog now. With around 3000 in the tank I only got 4 pods and a hopper, granted there was a small leak, but nothing that severe. Should I wait until the o-rings "break in" ?

What bolt is in your gun? But without a doubt whoever "fixed" it didn't fit your orings properly and one or more of them are to tight.

I didn't leave it at that PSI. I got it up there when I chronoe'd and didn't feel comfortable leaving it there so I turned it down to a lower psi.
Its completely stock so whichever bolt is the original.

Stock Shockers aren't something you see every day

And you can either hand-fit orings or just break the current ones in to get a better fit. But 280 psi is excessive. It could be one or more orings are the wrong size.

I'm building a shocker to use frequently and have some questions.

1. I'll be getting the alum eigen from lurker. What other internals should I be looking at for the bolt system?

2. I've been running my sft and luxe off an untouched (850 psi output) ninja reg. Haven't had any problems, but I know for the luxe best would be about 550psi. Which is a noticeable difference from 850.

- What is the suggested output for a shocker to run?
- What's the big difference with changing this?
