Red face 2k2 intimidator making noises

Ok I just installed hybrid high flow hose kit and my gun makes kind of a high pitch whistling noise near the lpr/frontblock/ramsleeve area. I checked the barbs and hoses for leaking and they don't seem to be. Sometimes when I air it up when I'm adjusting my lpr I'll get up to 70 psi or 80 psi and it will jump up and down. I'm thinking it might be the cupseal or something but I'm not sure. It did this noise before I installed the high flow hose kit too. I just replaced the solenoid also. Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks.

The whistling sound has to be from a leak. You may have to resort to a bit of soapy water and a Q-tip to find it. This may require applying a SMALL amount to the barbs to see if they are leaking. Be vey caareful not to get any water on the electronics as this would be very bad.....

Ok I might try that. I'm thinking about just sending it in to blast.

I don't have the stock lpr. I have a evil LPR. I have a stock 2k2 lpr in the mail so I'm gonna try that and see what it does.

Ok I figured out where the leak is coming from. Its between the frontblock and the body of the gun. What could be causing it? bad cup seal or poppet o-ring?

Change the o-rings on your front block and ram sleeve. You might have sliced the ones on your ram sleeve putting it back in your gun from cleaning it, or they could just be old or something... But change those and also make sure that it isn't coming from the front block barb.
