Agreed. I used to play H1 on Connect, and I was there camping out on 2uesday. After the first big Auto-Update in 2k5, I quit. Too many ****ing 12 year old sploiters.

i play on a regular basis with Walshy from Final boss, the number 1 team in the world. its hard but i do ok

all that stuff you mentioned before like swipe sniping and button glitches work well if you can use them right. i play on sensitivity 1 so it doesnt work for me but the double shot rrx does.

besides, who caress if your a high level, its just a number

I used to play with Fonzy, but I couldn't keep up, and I've also played with walsh in an FFA, and got raped, then booted.

And as for rank, to a point, it determines whether matchmaking can be fun or not.
20s and below are no challenge what so ever, 30s and above, are a challenge, but for the most part, are ***** and/or cheat. Customs are where it's at, but all my friends were ****ty.

I played with Walshy and both Ogres when their SNs were Not ogre 1, and Not ogre 2, over a year ago in some random MLG FFA custom I was invited to, turned out to not be fun at all.

the problem with the ranking system is there is no middle ground. Most people that have played LIVE have played games with very well known Pro's at one time or another. I know I played with Walshy a few days ago, under a different name, simply b/c how his teammate kept using "walshy" in game. Either way, I generally stick between 30-35 but the middle ground is 30-35 becuase god know what type of teammates you'll get.

You don't dare take more then 2 into a room because they'll make you against another 2 or 3 and go knows everyone cheats. Going in solo is the only way to play, but between 30-35 the bad players get boosted by the cheaters and can't hold their ground, or the 35s are people like walshy that get cheated so much and loose rank.

So this balanced system they thought would work blows, I hope thye overhaul it for H3. I'll play 3 bad players and then 3 pros in the same games all night becuase the system they have blows. I purpose a system that bases everything off wins, PERIOD...

Pro's don't play much LIVE anyways because they custom game so much. Let all the ******* cheaters boost so fast they only can play other cheaters. Players that have won 100% of their games play other 100% of their games, have a high chance at being cheaters. You might be a god at halo but you'll hit a cheater here and there and it'll lower your win perentage, lowering your chance or playing the real cheaters. Let cheaters sit in lobbies waiting HOURS to play others that haven't lost games.

most of everyone i play is really good from 10-30 because of all the good people starting new accounts. then from 30-35 its a ton a of overconfidant noobs and 40 and up is where the modders are.

his may not but my dad works for microsoft. the game isnt that great right now. halo does get borring after 2 completed games. but it will be fun, the maps and locations are the ****. pretty much same guns as halo 2.

overall what i played, it isnt worth paying $70+ for. but i garuntee u will like it if u do

Its probably going to come out fall/winter 07. It is scheduled to be a fall release (like november) but with a game like Halo, it could easily be pushed back.
