Got Ya.
I am surprised that nobody has come in with even theory of lower inline pressure. I am going to be trying the Pi and AKA 2 ltr on the VX and I am looking at getting the lowest and most consistent operating pressures.
Will it make a Difference ? Don't know, I was hoping that someone would have told me by now...
MY Theory, lowest oring drag & thinnest viscosity of lube on the bolt, and even in that case we are looking at +/- 10/20 psi

People have been tinkering with the VX for quite some time, and you're going to be hard pressed to get the operating pressure into the sub 90's and still maintain proper velocity.

Thanks, That Helps...
I didn't think that I was going to be able to go below that, but I always try to find the limits of my equipment. It can be a trying to do, but can be very rewarding when you find something interesting.

I'm now very happy to say that I am setup on my gun system, playing with it this weekend and using the "New" Lube and I was very, Very impressed!
This is very close to being my new favorite marker.
I was getting very tight chrono readings, with a 12ms Dwell set and I even put my Brand new 2Ltr Reg on and all though the 2 Ltr was not as consistent over the chrono, I know that there is a break-in period... I would like to get that broken in and then retry the 11ms dwell and see if the 2 ltr is actually better than the stock Gladiator Reg.
I dont care really which is best, I just want to see which is FACTUALLY best,
I will now focus on the Db tests that I originally was discussing with some of you.

ive found that my UL barrels tend to be quieter than most
edit: mac dev has one of the best regs. Normally AKA regs improve a gun but that might not be the case with your clone.

since we are a little off topic, the first question is how often do you lube your clone vx? I know that you will say check the Faq, I have...
Some say every weekend, some say after 5 cases. that's a weekend for me. I am wondering if anyone has researched the militia lube or any other to see how long it will last. Truly last without a trace of performance drop off, I have experience with other spool platforms that would blow your mind, but that's another story.
I'm interested to see if anyone else has done any research

I used a v1 clone for over a year and I've had a gt since they came out, both of them would go through three to four weekends without relubing with no loss in performance. that's about 8-10 cases for me..not precise research just what I've experienced with mine
