The compressor blew up at 11:00. Finding and renting a High output 5000psi compressor is almost non-existant to say the least and if they could have we couldn't get started til after 1:00. With that said the tourney would have lasted into darkness because the times for play can't be altered. Give them a break. I'm sure they have learned a valuable and expensive lesson.

I want to congratulate all those players that helped put the field back together that morning. Great job!!!!!

The majority of the teams playing will get their money back through future tourney's. For Those that this was a one time deal I'm sure can talk privately with Tapper and work something out. For those that travelled far and needed a hotel, well I feel for you but I'm sure that doesn't help. I'll be in the same boat when we go to Indy next month, I can only hope this doesn't happen again and MOTHER NATURE is kind to all of us.

See ya at Indy.

ya the village is pretty fun, we used to do a thing where after practice, we would load up on all our extra paint and put our guns on unlimited ramping, and play headshots only on the village

You can't just blame mother nature and praise the field for setting up fields that we didn't get to play on. The problem is being prepared to run events that you are saying your going to run.

Here is something I found in The Leaf Chronicle (Clarksville's paper), working in EMS I also know that NWS (the National Weather Service, the guys who decide if it was a F1,F2, or F3, were in town Monday looking at damage). As of Monday afternoon NWS has decided F1 damage is CONFIRMED in Sango (home of GAS).

Saturday morning's storm brought hail, wind, flooding and at least 4.5 inches of rain to Clarksville, weather officials confirmed Monday.

"That's almost a month's worth of rain in one night," said Tommy Williams, superintendent of the Clarksville Wastewater Treatment Plant, where official records are taken.

He recorded 4.5 inches of rain from 1 to 4 a.m. Saturday, and a total of 4.85 inches for the whole day.

The long-term average rainfall for May in Clarksville is 4.64 inches, Williams said.

The National Weather Service in Nashville confirmed 5.05 inches of rain in Clarksville for the entire "event," said meteorologist John Cohen.

They confirmed three-quarter inch hail at 1:30 a.m. Friday, then thunderstorm straight-line winds in several areas:

• In the Hampton Road and Sango Road area, a tree fell on an empty school bus, causing major damage. Trees and power lines were down.

• About eight miles south of Clarksville, trees were down and houses were damaged.

At about 2:40 p.m. flash flooding was reported, with 25 homes having flooded basements or crawl spaces. Three to four homes had major water damage, Cohen said.

"You've been through a mess up there," Cohen said.

you guys need to stop the *****ing, u are lucky that u will get a refund or a rain check, i remember 2 mspa that we had to play in rain that you could not even see 10 feet in front of you and only got 2800 fills, and the other mspa we only got 2000, and at both of them they told everyone basically play with what you got or go home and if u went home their would be no refunds.

SO YOU LITTLE GIRLS NEED TO MAN UP AND COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS THAT THE MSXL IS WILLING TO WORK WITH ALL OF THE TEAMS ON GETTING THEIR MONEY BACK OR GIVING THEM A RAIN CHECK.

Facts

No excuses guys you think you're upset this thing didn't happen. Try this on for size.

$5000 Race bunkers for the event and series
$4500 Event paint (gotta discount and blow out at the field) Fresh paint every event.
$500 Trophies
$500 2AM Sat. morning replacing pits I don't need
We (AXPS) also had 2 teams entered in the event; fuel, motel, food....
$1200 in future event discounts $100 x 12 teams to (help) make up for motel and expenses.
Still have to pay prize$$$ and Host of next event on top of reschedule Event#2 make good on rain checks and discount a future event.

Bright side, if you played the 1st event you know how good it can be. Proving Grounds is gonna be amazing.

Don't cheat your team because of 1 unfortunate chain of events.

I am doing more than giving you your entry back but if that is not satisfactory have your team captain PM me and we will see what other arraingements can be made.

Thank you for playing the MSXL

Thanks Darin, we're looking forward to a big turnout at our home field Manny's working hard to make it a great event. I'll try to get some pictures up next week for those that haven't been there before.
