I'm not hating, I grew up watching Aftershock win world cup after world cup. They wer ethe definition of dominance. when i was 16 (like 6 years ago) I thought Ryan Williams was god.

I'm a New Yorker, I hate California Teams (I just like the BC quote in my profile, dont like Dynasty).

I just fail to understand with all the quality players in Chicago, the fact that until this year they only played NXL, they are so heavily sponsored, how Aftershock could have become such a shell of its former self.

I want them to be good. I hope it happens.

I'll be the one to say that you will never understand.

Times have changed. This is not 10 man and the money that the sport was once generating has gone. The goal has been to focus on one league, the league that Renick owns. Now we happened to come across a deal that let us into the NPPL.

Almost every year for the last 4 has been a rebuilding year for Shock, with lots of new players. We are younger, more local, and have more drive to win then ever.

I wasnt bashing you for playing in only one league, I was just saying that when you practice exclusively x-ball I thought it would have greatly improved your ability to win an NXL event.

So this is another rebuilding year? Teams in the paintball industry rebuild every year. I don't think what the industry is doing is really going to effect Shock. Its time to get some wins...
