Can I service my MYTH reg myself? It's putting out a bit more pressure than it's supposed to and I think it may have something to do with the fact I have never cleaned the reg. It's been 4 years.

WHy yes you can! It is really easy. Pick up one of their rebuild kits, and once you degas and pull the regulator off of your tank you should be in and out of the thing in under 5 minutes while eating a sandwich.

So.... Just had a first gen myth (tank is an 08 manufacture date) blow a hole under the o-ring.
I understand that the reg/tank is 4yrs old, but is there any sort of warranty on defects after that long?

Is the Ambush reg user-serviceable? If so how should i take the bonnet off? No air, no set screws in, i cant take it off.

No. Not enough clearance for the gauge against the trigger frame. You need the spacer DLX includes or use a reg. extender.

The Myth regulator was design to be user friendly and easy to service. Unscrew the top flange using a 3/16" Allen wrench and clean all the internals, then inspect the o-rings to see if they need replacement. Re-lube before re-assembly.
Make sure your air system is completely empty before attempting to service it.

I believe they were user serviceable but I would not know who would still have parts available for it since it's been out of production for awhile.

Yeah - I realize that might have been a bit vague... it blew right underneath the groove where the O-Ring for the seal to the ASA is. Looks like it's right at the seam. Luckily it blew off there and stayed on, and didn't go shooting across the staging area.
Best pic I could get where you can see the deformity on the seam.
(and of course, my host went down after I posted this.. so if you don't see a pic above, that's why....)

Unscrew the top flange of the regulator with a 3/16" Allen wrench. If you do not have the Allen wrench with a hole in it, you must depress the pin while unscrewing it.
You will be able to access and replace the black o-ring with the top flange off. It is a 012-80 Buna o-ring. If you are unable to find a replacement, email me at john@guerrillaair with your address and I will send you a replacement.

I have a FUKU reg that has served me well in the past. Last year, I had a few issues of the reg spiking and blowing out macro line. I've seen where some others have had occasional issues with spiking as well.
IIRC, the FUKU was just a special version of the Assault. Are these still serviceable? I don't really want to buy a new reg unless I have to.
Thanks.

These regulators have been out of production for some time now and unfortunately it was not part of the product line when the change in ownership for Guerrilla Air took place. We do not have any parts available to support it.
I would suggest posting your inquiry in the general forum for air systems. You may a get a reply from someone that can point you in the right direction.

Yes, the Pro Burst disc is compatible and has the same thread pattern as the standard burst disc used on the Ninja regulators.
The function and performance of the Pro Burst disc is the exactly the same as traditional burst discs. The only difference that was made was the profile and overall aesthetics of it.
