Ok first things first we never got personal about Bea yesterday. Yes she is a woman a mother and yes even a player. However none of that qualifies her as a commentator for a major paintball league event. When PSP announced that they were going to offer a live steaming webcast at their events, they first made sure that they had all the pices in place to actually do it. They also looked at what they hadn't done well in the past and went out and found people that actually know what they were doing and partnered with them. Now I am not saying that PSP is perfect far from it however they are on the right track to improve.

I think we have said enough for now about NPPL lack luster webcast. But would it be asking to much for them to at least update the scores now and and then. So of we can't watch, we can at least follow along.

The premise of this topic is required to better broadcast our voice/view to the world, but the demeanor has ruined its integrity.

My $0.02,

The hardware quality is clearly sub par.

There obviously was no sound check as your audio levels are clipping and distorting constantly.

Someone get the commentators a working clock.

Do the commentators have a schedule in front of them or are they repeating what's being said by the local announcer? (rhetorical)

Is your playback box THAT difficult to run? You looped a Valken ad a million times, and not once did it play correctly. (Re-racks, and tons of audio issues)

The list goes on.

We don't know whats going on behind the scenes of the NPPL, maybe its a budget issues and they are simply making due.. but its unacceptable. I'm pretty sure the community would rather wait for the properly edited content then to be ashamed of our live feed.

It wasn't live until a little past 10am yesterday so I think they are on the same schedule.

Is it to soon to ask if they are even going to air the webcast today? I would think that someone within the NPPL has asked what would happen if try just cut their losses and just wait until the next event.

mine came on around 12.30pm which is 9.30 in California yesterday you would think if there was a LIVE countdown it would actually start on time. Then again it is free and you cant really complain if they were offering this web cast tho they should of made sure it worked 100%. PSP Galveston was hit by a nasty storm a day before the event and some how they came together and had the event with a killer Webcast. its sad to see NPPL have a ****ty webcast yesterday and followed by this today you would think they would some how improve.

Can we please please please, get a mic that is always on near the field? Dead air when the commentators turn off their mics sucks. At least let us hear what is going on on the field and in the stands...

The thing thats driving me crazy about this is the NPPL refuses to let everyone know about the problems. If they would take 10 seconds to update us with just a simple "running late on the webcast it will be up soon" or "technical difficulties were trying our hardest to figure them out" i would be a bit more patient.

dynasty announced their game against xsv starts at 10:15 (15 minutes earlier then scheduled)... looks like were missing the first bit

I love how NPPL can post photo's via twitter, but they can turn on the webcast. No need to have anyone for the play by play. Just let us watch and I am sure we can figure it out all on own. What do you think?

Just leave a mic on near the field, and have the cameras rolling. It'll be like a live Social Paintball video.
