I ordered some d-lite cup seals about a year ago. they were all delrin.

I noticed my SB's d-lite cup seal has a metal pin down the center (length-wise). I am assuming it's to reinforce the stem.


Question: those of you that have received d-lite cup seals from NPF or those of you that have bought d-lite cup seals recently... Do they have the metal pin?

I've never seen one with a metal pin. Not a visible one, anyway.

I got some from npf last week and it does not have a pin

Just received 2 sets from Jay and nothing in those. Maybe it's a SB "thang".

My guess is so they don't wear down til ur hammer doesn't even hit the pin at all. Looks like yours ate just worn from use. Haven't checked since I've used one

The two I bought did not have a metal pin visible. One was bought from Jay and one was bought from ANS because I accidentally glued the magnet in backwards in the first one.
