Great flick. I remember seeing it when it first came out...damn it must have been like 7-8 years ago at least. I remember then not understanding much of it, but since I've seen it probably 5+ times.

Yea it came out in 1998... it's crazy. Johnny Depp really captured the character well.

Johnny Depp was good and everything, but I liked when Bill Murray played Hunter better. Go see "Where the Buffalo Roam"

I've read the book almost as much as I've watched the movie. It's so much better.

watch the documentary "Breakfast with Hunter". Johnny Depp played the role of Hunter Thompson perfect.

Ive seen the movie dozens of time. Dont watch it just once, watch it several times because youll notice stuff that you missed the first time around. and it helps if you know alittle about hunter thompson.

and christina ricci

Yea... but some of the **** they do is ****ing rare to get and dangerous. I've done my fair share of acid, and it's sweet and all, but I couldn't do it everyday. It takes a lot out of me. Plus, I doubt you've ever done adrenochrome. It only comes from a human beings adrenaline gland. They do DMT and other hard drugs, too. It's crazy how they didn't die

I personally thought Johnny Depp did way better, even though I like Bill Murray more.

I think I just liked that movie better that fear and loathing. "I refuse to believe Nixon and Lazlo are dead until I'm knawing on their skulls with my very own teeth, because for me, it just hasn't gotten weird enough." Priceless.
