It's awesome to see non-paintballers in the media actually play with proper masks and decent markers. So sick of seeing paintball portrayed as some kids in the woods with ski-goggles and busted to hell 98 customs.

I find it refreshing that not only is paintball getting some recognition for this, but for once the pictures going around won't be ones with improper safety measures. The barrel condoms are on in their shot off the field, and their masks are down on the field.

As long as they are my pictures that is what is happening, I can't say about anyone else.

Haha, I managed to shoot him and live before I crapped myself. So double victory.

If he'd gone full speed instead of a slow jog, he probably could have gotten me.

hate to be the bearer of bad news, but paintball isn't tough. it's nowhere near as hard as most competitive sports.

So your telling me you don't have to work as hard to play professional paintball than say professional soccer or football. I'm going to call bs on that one

no, you definitely don't have to work as hard to play pro paintball as you would pro football/soccer/lacrosse/baseball etc.

Not trying to say pro paintball is easy by any means, because it definitely takes alot of practice and skill to be good at, but it doesn't compare to other sports.

As someone who currently plays varsity high school lacrosse, i can tell you that it involves much more hard work than paintball. Practicing for 3 hours a day out on the field, and then ending each day with an insane amount of running to the point where your legs don't work anymore... that's hard work. Getting hit by someone twice your size, and getting back up just to get hit again, that's hard work.

Anyway who has played a physical sport in a respectable program will agree with me

This is absolutely amazing! I would definitely like to read more if there are more details. I wish the New England Patriots would do something like that. I would fly back east in a heartbeat!

I play varsity football/soccer/and wrestle and i do believe paintball compares to any contact sport. but there is no point of arguing about it on the internt.
