Julio benefits from having a good team around him, and playing NFC South defenses.

He would be extremely mediocre on most other teams. With that being said, I enjoy watching the kid play, he's got some skills.

Idk if you can come to that conclusion, they were doing pretty good without him as well. Tony has been a quiet beast for awhile.

He's no megatron, but its not crazy to say he is better than AJ Green, either.

That guy didn't quit he just got promoted. I'll call him soon to make sure he doesn't want this ****ed up shrine to mediocrity first. But possibly.

That's dumb.

You can definitely come to that conclusion just by watching Falcons games. Julio routinely draws double coverage. That's part of the reason why Roddy White went over 100 yards yesterday. After Julio went over 120 yards in the first half, he was literally double teamed on almost every play, creating all sorts of opportunities for other ATL targets.

Also, since you compared him to Megatron, you know he had 12 touchdowns to Megatron's 5, right?

Stats never tell the whole story, Megatron would put up even larger numbers if he had the supporting cast Julio has. I definitely don't agree with calling Julio mediocre though, I had to watch him play us for three years and he tore it up then. He's going to be a special player during his career but he's not at megatron's level....yet

Megatron is the best, no question. Julio is damn good though, and I'd say the Falcons did well in going after him.

Perhaps. That defense needs a lot of work still. I don't know where I put Julio, but I put AJ, Megatron, and BMarsh over him for sure.

I'm aware, I'm just pointing out that statistically, Julio's production is on an elite level.

Nope, our insiders feel pretty confident about Bell (who got five star status today).

Here's how I see it:

1. Megatron (based on current form, but #2 could easily be #1 with the right QB)
2. Larry Fitz
3. B. Marsh
4. AJ Green
5. Julio Jones

I think within two seasons, Julio and Green will be the best receivers in the league. Barring injury, of course.

Sumlin inherited a lot of talent. Texas A&M was loaded this year with some top notch NFL talent. They matched up pretty favorably talent-wise with Alabama.

Freeze, on the other hand, inherited absolute dog ****. They were a two win team a year ago and Nutt had led the roster go to hell. Getting them to a winning season was extremely impressive. They played well versus Bama and nearly pulled off upsets over A&M and LSU.

Plus, their recruiting right now is nothing short of phenomenal. Freeze is pulling in five stars from the Midwest.

You had some great talent, though. Joeckel might be the number one overall pick this year. Then you had guys like Moore, Michael, Swope, Neely, etc. Sherman couldn't motivate kids to play, but he definitely improved the talent level at A&M.
