Evasive maneuvers are no match for this crowd.

Evasive Maneuvers -Sometimes they work7:25 =) sometimes they Dont 1:49 =(

No Raza Jerzey supercoushinsupermanstatemarshmellowpuffultracheat athingymabobbsafteymechanizm.

For those that enjoy this lil Vid - Thanks to Jeff Wilson for some great vids! They have only gotten better with time you should check them out. I have posted as many as I could find in the VIDS section in the pump forums. He did a really great one of Living Legends (hope to see everyone at LL6!!!)

I remember a time when you talked less and played more D. Ohh those were the days eh? Chili bowl tomorrow? Probably busy, Evasive maneuvers maybe?

At least using them would be more in line with the ideal of a game of hits and misses.
Finally someone brought up hard armor. I had been expecting it and as you might guess have thought of it quite a bit. It does not make sense to wear hard armor, because hard armor is uncomfortable and inflexible. And it makes no sense to have a harder surface than bare flesh.

Bounces are an integral part of paintball. The paint mark is critical. Otherwise go play airsoft.

In airsoft everything bounces and it doesn't hurt, that's what we should be trying to avoid happening to paintball.

This is a disingenuous comparison, a "bounce" is a hit that does not eliminate you, which does not exist in airsoft. There is no logic to this train of thought.

That's kind of the point, if you are playing all the time year round, you may have a few different considerations than people who don't play for large chunks of the year.

As I have followed this spirited conversation, it just makes me want to go to SPE and FPE that much more.
I can just imagine how these conversations go live, after a few beers and after a day of Paintball.
Other subjects I've seen with almost as much enthusiasm...autotriggers, National vs. Local tourneys, limited vs unlimited, CCM fanboys vs .....

Here in SoCal it's usually too hot to wear anything more than a shirt unless it's in the deep winter when it drops down to the mid 40's in the mornings.

You sir must not leave Socal that often? Who could blame you though. The pump community is great out there.. Blitz puts on amazing events from what I see and that weather, mmmmm mmmm its nice.

Here in the mid-west we are blessed with your Heat + Humidity in the summer, and negative temps in the winter.

People wear what they want, but my suggestion to my teammates has always been to train in what you are going to wear to the event to condition yourselves properly.

Our Raza jerzeys are definitely warmer than most. I really like em in the winter but if you aren't a fan of summer heat and you just randomly throw it on make sure you PAY ATTENTION and hydrate, cause you might just overheat. I dig the summer heat so its no sweat for this guy.. But I hate the winter cold so it helps to wear it and keep me warmer =)

These conversations face to face - BAHHAHHAHAHAHAHAH.

See you all at SPE, missed some of you at Chili Bowl...

Way to hold it down onepumpchump, I agree with alot of what you are saying.

That said, anyone who second guessed arm/knee/slider pads, understand that joint/body protection is super important and shouldn't be looked at as bounce padding. I saw people brought up padding in pants several times and it just got me confused, what purpose, other then protection from sliding and joint wear, would pant padding have? lmao.

Chest and side padding, and sleeve padding in Jersey's are something else. Never have the sleeve padding in jersey's really been all that protective from sliding and such, and i do agree with the point that they are being designed with the initiative for bounces, however for the average game of paintball (speed and woods) I can see how the padding is protective in cases of overshooting, close shooting etc....

Take the good with the bad. Before padding there was Super loose Jerseys that were pretty great with catching the paintballs off break or from long ballers in the woods. Jerseys nowadays are alot tighter, giving the paint alot better chance of breaking.

PS- That video really made me miss playing some of those guys in the NPPL series from a few years ago (omg its been 3 years! what the ****....) The competition was so great, i know assorted MW players played on several different teams that year. Can't wait for pump night come Living Legends!

I can live with arm, knee, slider, throat, and head protection. I dont remember seeing people disagree with those pieces.

On your 2nd point I highlighted, you then would not agree with JT.

Haha your just so cute lil Squiggles... Try harder.... It must really bother you that some people actually have common sense and agree that the benefits outweigh the negatives. Going as far as misquoting someone to try to make your point, just sad bro..

No misquote that I see?

194 replies, yeah ill pass on reading all of those.

You continue to stray away from the point in which this all "started" with. You have done everything in your power to avoid fixing what you said in your video. I care about nothing else you have to say sir. You can throw all the safety and LiL JT crap out the window.

Admittance.

The point which started this thread was a "cool story bro" I shared my story with you apparently didn't like it or the message it conveyed...

This topic is broader than what your mind can wrap itself around. You see only the bouncy side of things when time and time again it has been brought up that this jerzey serves more than that one purpose alone..

The only reason I have even bothered entertaining your rants is I dont want anyones negative comments discouraging someone from wearing a LEGAL piece of gear that ultimately makes them play the game safer. You have focused extremely hard on two half cocked statements I made on a BAG REVIEW trying to save people 50 to 100$ . Your welcome for that by the way, and in case you missed it!

The jerzey rocks too btw and the promo code is still valid for the bag!

If the review was about the jerzey I would have covered my full thoughts D~ bag, but since it wasnt, feel free to take my shout outs and run with them.

Cry harder someone might change there clothes for you, this guy wont.

Continue down your broken path JT. I will leave this subject alone now. You know your wrong.

I will also disregard the threats I received from you. I will just laugh at them as good humor.

Have fun buddy.
