Eflex the lens is much easier to get out and clean or replace. More colors are available prof ex though

If you liked your event then you will like the e-flex.

eflex has the events frame, but is compatible with flex bottoms. the eflex bottoms are nice to put on a flex, they flow pretty well. i personally dislike the eflex because of the frame style, having the thermal foam in my field of vision.

the proflex is my favorite mask. i have a set of profilers and grillz, i like those as well.

the proflex is completely customizable. you can put on jt soft or hard ears, or both, for a tourney mask. if you play rec-ball, you can modify dye i3 ears easily to fit. you can also mod events ears to fit. i think zippin35 has done this.

there are numerous color combinations you can make with the proflex. endless possibilities there. i like them best BC of a wide range of vision along with comfort. plus i've had alot of bounces off my proflex bottoms. i'm kind of a flex whore tho.

thats my .02

Personally, I've owned both the proflex and the eflex. The eflex fits better on my face imo. The field of vision is obstructed on the eflex but a lense wrap clears this problem up easily and also adds customization to your mask. Again just my opinion but I prefer eflex.

Same for me, but if he had an Event I am assuming it didn't bother him. The foam in my vision is a deal breaker for me.

What I don't like about the EFlex - heavier than proflex, eye foam isn't as nice as the old proflex foam

What I don't like about the proflex - people think they are made of gold, PITA lens removal

i dont mind the foam in my field of view, i was going to put a wrap on it.
i want to try out the proflex just to see how i like it and if i dont sell it and go to the eflex, proflex is cheaper to.

The color thing isnt really that much of an issue with me, i do like the red rage on the proflex. Im planning on playing a few speed tourneys this summer just dont want to use my event with the foam tearing off.

Get the Eflex. Great mask, feels very similar to the events but with a flex bottom. Meaning your own voice doesn't roar in the mask like it does in the events, and you can breath easier, but you keep the same lenses and lense change system.

I myself do not own an Eflex, but someone let me borrow them two weeks ago after I forgot my i4s at home. At first, the way the foam gets up in front of your eyes when you put it on is instantly associated with Event frames (which is pretty much what they are) It's annoying, but very comfortable. Being able to breathe well is a huge plus for this mask. I've owned two proflexes and can safely say that the Eflex is miles ahead of it

Just got my eflex, after using the proflex for years. My initial findings:

Eflex good - easy lens removal, slimmer profile, better ear coverage & protection. Compatible with Spectra series parts.
Eflex bad - heavier, mainly due to the beefier lens and lots of hardware incorporated into the lens/strap/ear retaining system. Lens foam in field of view but in-game it can easily be ignored (for me, anyway - i can see it, but it's not blocking my view).

Proflex good - super light, much cheaper, more parts available currently, like my personal fave lenses, the fades!
Proflex bad - lens changing can ruin one's favorite fingers. Soft ears don't cover entire ear, unless you make your own or mod other ears to fit. Bottoms flare out a bit, making you look like you've got a fat head.

Foam seems identical on both, i don't understand the folks who say the Eflex foam is worse. I'm touching proflex AND eflex foam right now.

After owning both I prefer the Proflex in every way over the E-flex with the exception of the lens removal.

I agree with Josh. In the end, it's all about personal preference and what is comfortable to the wearer.

Try both. I haven't got my hands on the Eflex yet. I always am eager to replace my flex 7, but so far nothing has been equally comfortable. The lens changing isn't super speedy but it isn't an issue for me or anyone who has owned one for more than 2 ball sessions.

I own both and personally like the Eflex better. Mainly because of the ease of lens removal which might not seem like a big deal to people, but after bloody finger nails on multiple occasions, I simply stopped changing the proflex's even if I could barely see. I also think the ear protection on the Eflex is much more comfortable.

bloody finger nails, please... I bet you get manicures and pedicures as well

the first couple times is a PITA, but it gets easier after you do it a couple times. Honestly how often do you really need to remove your lenses? The only thing about the eflex that beats the proflex is the removable lens
