Video stock footage website?

Hey, I need to make a video for a project and I need to use stock footage. I found http://footage.shutterstock.com but the videos are really expensive ($50/piece?!). Any recommendations on where to go?

$50 sounds about right for short stock video pieces. Try searching for creative commons footage.

What kind of stock footage do you need?

Incase you don't see in the FAQ,

Whatever the slider is, makes a massive difference. Got a link? Mind letting me know what camera/setup you're using? Really impressed with your vids.

Might aswell add mine:

What a slider is essentially a dolly on a rail, http://www.ebay.com/itm/CHANCE-SALE-...em35b99d 28d0

It does add ALOT of impact to your footage, well worth the investment!
All of our productions are extremely low-no budget.
My camera is a Canon 5D Mark II, lenses are a combination of what we can borrow, anywhere from 24-70L, 24L, 50mm, 10-22, 70-200 etc. We use LED light panels and led light rings, on Glidecam and slider. For the music video we rented out a cheap camera jib, shot the slow motion on a 60D.

BTW: i liked the POV shots. I should try shooting paintball some time. I quit years ago but still frequent this forum
