i dont think that has anything to do with the actual bolt face, as the threshold uses an open face, and had no problems

Considering frames are the same, im sure they had a bunch of frames come back from laser, tossed in a bin, and when the next body was ready, someone just reached in and took a frame.

It wouldnt surprise me then if someone with an iQ has G3 in the serial ...

Of course this is just assuming they made frames with G3 lasered in them and not just left them with iQ.

Eh ... maybe his is just counterfeit

Also noticed that the trigger, eye covers and "hook" all appear to be cast (instead of milled).

As im sure Xluben found out, its easier to unplug the board connectors if you remove the frame first. Once the frame is off of the body you can move the body towards the rear of the frame and give yourself plenty of room to remove cables. With the frame attached there is VERY little room for error
