Personally, I agree with entropy- A tooless back cap would be an awesome addition to the kit that I would definitely be willing to pay a bit extra for.

If this is even being considered, I vote no tooless back. Unless it can be without changing the look of the back of the gun. I personally dislike the look of the X-93 back.

I personally don't care ether way with the tool-less back. As said before, no one honestly takes there bolt out mid game, and if your taking it out off the field its not really a big deal to grab an allen key. I didnt mind the looks of the x-93 ether, but then again I dont really care how my gun looks at all just as long as it mows people down. I just really want to see one of these things inside of my gun in the near future.

It's a US patent and he's British. Also they never so much as batted an eye when he released the X-94 bolt, so he cautiously released the X-95 bolt and still no one cared. At that point he made the X-93 bolt and again no one said anything.

Well like I said, I'm pretty sure the specific details of the patent infringement related to the tail design And I'm pretty sure all of the X- series bolts had a different tail design with internal sleeve o-rings rather than external stem o-rings.

It may be a US patent, so it wouldn't prevent bolts from being manufactured in Europe, but I believe it would restrict them from being distributed within the US.

The X-93 did not perform as well as the earlier Gold 1.1. These new ones will (hopefully) outperform both, or at very least the X-93.

Yep looked it over a few nights ago Z

been shooting a Red Dm3 or my hAir for the last few years. I didn't care much for the Matrix when they were new, too many build consistency issues and at the time poor repair manuals.

When a tech hands you a bag of o-rings and a list and say just swap them all, that dosen't exactly inspire confidence in the gun.

The later GenE and Dye DM3's were built so much better.

The DM4 & 5 were an improvement in the bolt design and gas use, but I never liked them. The DM6/7/8 were fantastic guns ( not 100% sold on the no Eye plate and the eye pipe stuff but meh ) The 9 & 10 are basically M8's
