So a friend of mine lent me his old camera bag to play around with his Minolta gear before I purchase the set for $50 (a steal). What's in it:

Minolta SRT-101 Film Body

Minolta 28mm f/3.5 prime
Minolta 58mm f/1.2 prime (WOW!)
Minolta 200mm f/5 prime

Kako Hi-Beam II Flash


The problem I'm having is that the lenses won't lock into the body properly, I was wondering if there is ANY chance anyone knows anything about these old cameras and would be able to help me out. Or just tell me some cool things about this old gear. Thanks!

Indeed, just used a simple online site, emurse to create one, then had my graphic designer buddy build it up from there. and added photos

My estimated locked-in tuition for Western Illinois University will be approximately $9k/year for 4 years. T-minus 1 month until I move down there. Did my taxes tonight also. Getting back $1400, but that's about $600 less than last year simply because I made $3k more.

I think I may sell at least my D300 while I can still get a good price. If I decide to go to the xpro-1, I'll sell the glass. If I stay Nikon, get a D700 when the price is good. I dunno. I also have to think about buying a new car when it craps out this year.
