Kohn has more options than laser my gun. BUT I don't like Kohn they messed up my dad's Star trek DM3.

The only reason I went with Khon is because I called all the lasering people in the states and none of them would touch grays or fades except Kohn.

Kohn did do the laser really nice but messed up a font size on one side of the gun.....

Sent them an email, tho I will probably remake that one with PB187.

Ya, the DM's work better with as big an aperture as you can get in the bolt tip, thats why i try to avoid the soft tips.

I haven't even aired it up yet (no air). if I have any issues I'll just drop it back in the bag tomorrow and grab my NYX and work on it at home. Gonna be too busy with co-workers/my son/ former teammates to worry with it too much.

I ordered some stuff in that guy-from-Cousins' sale thread, thinking a lot of what I wanted would be gone already. I was pleased to find it wasn't all gone. I snagged that old Diablo body with the external KAPP LPR going into the DAC because I wanted high res close up pictures of one. I figured it, as a test gun, would be fairly beat up but could be used for pics, and then I could flip it.

The gun is immaculate. There are no idiot wrench marks anywhere. The VAA is clean. The screws are untouched. The little seam on the grips where the two halves are glued together is still new and sharp. The battery he sent even works. How cool is that?

Serial number like 690 or something, gen 1 bolt kit, SMC solenoid, and slide switch board for those curious. Just missing a HPR and breech. Hell of a deal for $50. I think I might keep it.

That external KAPP LPR reminded me a lot of the old school impulses with ANS LPRs.

My sl94 was olive, I think the colour combo was called g4t or something silly like that. The colour was quite nice.

You're thinking of the G4H markers, otherwise known as Guns 4 Hire.

Most of their tagged markers were some sort of olive scheme.

so I took the VMOT matrix out today for it's maiden splat. Bolt was leaking, and the asa was leaking. I swapped the regs over to my NYX to use it and the stupid NYX wouldn't even fire at all. The Noid never activated, so I swapped the regs, asa, and Bolt from the NYX onto the VMOT and we were running good for most of the day. Only complaint is the feedneck, the hopper was moving around on me and I couldn't get it tight. Prob gonna swap the feedneck from the NYX.

Still mad about the NYX, About to look into it now.

edit: leak is fixed, but solenoid appears dead. Gonna try to swap the one from the VMOt matrix to verify, but it airs up, board flashes, but no kaboom.
