Larry Bird did a pretty good job at learning to be black. So did Steve Nash.

Passing, court vision, and defensive fundamentals. Shouldn't be the hardest, but in practice, they are.

I don't really think shooting is a talent. It's a skill. It can be taught and can be improved on. Look at Derrick Rose, when he was a rookie he had no jumper. Teams would leave him wide open at the 3 because he couldn't hit them. 2 years of hard practice on his shooting form has made him a threat from the outside. Granted, it does take determination and patience if you're trying to rebuild your shooting motion.

yea and derrick Rose also sucks at shooting free throws which is one of the reasons his squad lost the national title. shooting is a skill that if taught correctly can turn into a talent for anyone.

I don't think he sucks at free throws. He definitely chocked... He raised his free throw shooting % to a fantastic 85% last season, and is at 82% this season. Not an elite free throw shooter, but better then average.

Thought this was funny to read now that we are speaking about this subject lol, and yes he has raised it mainly because he goes to the line alot more. That guy puts so much weight on his back. He deserves the mvp award. Unlike Lebron who will go score a ton of points and choke at the end of the game.
