I'm not really into the EDM stuff but my brother is, anyone know of George Acosta? my brother lieks his stuff and wants recommendations on similar stuff if you know of any

Yeah, he wants pretty generic anthem dance/trance.

Uhm... I forgot whats good in trance because I don't listen to it that much.

Calling all trancefags, fellow trancefag needs assistance.

I can suggest this series called "A State of Trance" that all the trance kiddies are all hopped up on.

yay for v3

so our house threw a huge party last night, I DJ'd 2 sets, 11-12:30 then 1:30-3. Since everyone was trashed after 1:30, i got away playing a phat Electro house set. I was fighting off all the people asking "Hey, can you play some chris brown."

I mean ****! I just started to not give a **** last night because I had so many people requesting rap i was like "I'll get to it... just wait" but people are so ****ing impatient.
All in all tho it was a good night and i ****ing killed it on the decks. Wish i could of had someone record some of it... maybe next time.

Girl Talk is playing a free show on campus tonight, probably going to be mobbed cuz so many people are jumping on the GT bandwagon.

A friend of mine is throwing a party that I've been invited to VIP show, and spin a bit.

The lucky bit, is that he hangs out with pretty much purely EDM junkies, so I'll be able to get away with playing anything short of pure hardcore.

I'm thinking a house/gabba/trance mix. Start off mid, build to a gabba climax, and then dip into some relaxing trance to bring everyone back down.
