I had mystics in mind. Is there any correlation?

This hardly ever get's talked about and as soon as it does, it is put aside. But this is the most powerful belief in the Christian religion: that the Creator of the Universe somehow resides inside the believer, teaching him where he should go in the form of the Holy Spirit.

Is this what you mean by micromanagement?

A very minuscule amount of Christians think about the implications of this.

Are you sure that is unique to Christianity?

I like to think God did whatever the **** he had to do to get the ball rolling and intervened as little as possible from there. However, I do believe God intervenes on occasion. Like unexplainable miracles, ghosts (read: angles and demons?) and ****.

I must say, however, that I'm not Christian. That's a truly independent belief.

And, of course, I meant to say angels not angles.

If the semantics differ, the concept is different.

I think exclusively with my third eye. And I don't mean the one on my forehead...

I'm not Christian, therefore, all my beliefs are original and unique to myself. I am a free thinker.

I'm pretty sure neither originality nor uniqueness are requirements to be a freethinker.

Didn't say they were but then again there really is no such thing.

I didn't say it was unique. Micromanagement wise any Christian that says God is done with creation may be gravely mistaken.
What change is going on inside each individual?
If there is nothing going on, I question whether the supposed Christian believes what is in his Bible. There are verses in the Bible; that if someone honestly believed in these verses, he would most likely be sent to a mental institution to be evaluated.

It is mainly because spiritual experiences are illegal.

It is funny that most people don't realize that the "Abrahamic God" only saves the elect. (Doctrine of Election is a somewhat buried idea recently.) There is no threat to compel action and action/ inaction or good works are no recompense for the depravity of man. If the alleged purpose of "Christianity" is mind-control or an opiate for the masses, then the allegation was fabricated by ill-informed individuals.
