Looks like a good grenade with a good price. Can't wait to pick some up.

I noticed the grenade doesn't have to be struck with a baseball bat to go off. That's one up over the other guy.

Tried these out this afternoon

I got two of each size this afternoon: much preferred to Squadbusters. The only other grenade I will use is the Major Paintball G4. However, I prefer the new BTs: even the smaller BT grenade seems to hold more paint.

Every BT grenade went off with the first throw. Pin was odd to get used to at first, but once you get used to it, there was no trouble. Spray was admirable as well.

Definitely worth the price!

We used them last year and they worked extremely well. Simple, clean, effective...

Since it's kind of related, Tomcat, in the apex barrel thread by Shane S525, the pic u posted was a bt-4 assault with red-dot, apex m4, and like a grenade launcher type thing. it looks like an M203. where did you get it? how effective is it? and would you recconmend it?

thx

It is an M203 RIS mount from ebaybanned. It costs half the price of the RAP4 and is identical. You can use the RAP4 or Madbull grenade shells and fill stations. With the green gas you get about 100' max with C02, you can adjust the pressure and therefore the distance (note: We use these as anti-tank weapons and fire the small Nerf rockets). We tested them with CO2 and got about 175+ feet. We will run more testing soon - video will be available on BT Warrior. It just takes a little getting used to and definitely get a 3 pt sling. It comes in near 15 - 20 lbs with everything plus full hopper, but the fear factor itself is worth it.
Like I said before, to get back on topic, these grenades work as shown in the video, pull and toss. I saw the squad buster video and it was very funny. They had 4 young players line up with goggles on and the guy pulled the pin and threw it as hard as he can into the ground in from of them. (he was about 6' away.) and the grenade didn't go off, with the camera rolling, he picked up the grenade, pulled the mesh about 2/3's the way off and slammed it down again. It finally went off. The BT grenade is a toss and go product, when it hits - it sprays!

Greetings,
We tested some of these last weekend at a Scenario.
We had the 8 Oz version and they worked quite well.
They worked everytime without a single bouncer and mark well too.

I found that if I threw them just short of the target, when they hit the ground they would spray everywhere.

Nice job!

Hmmm, I've always heard of so many paint grenades failing so i never thought it would be worth it, but i might have to pick some of these up!

Did you pull the pin? It tends to help. I've used several of these and never had a problem with them going off. Mind you the ground where I used this on was hard as cement, and once actually was cement

We used so many at ION. Just pull the pin and toss. Its a fire and forget type of paint weapon. If it didn't go off, you forgot to pull the pin. Matter of fact, when I was grabbin' a few for my team, it was suggested to pull the pin, keep a finger on the cap and throw. Some people were pulling the pin and squeezing the grenade while they were throwing it and it was going off prematurely. A light grip is best.

these gernades completly destroy the tippman squadbuster gernades.
If you throw the bt's, they break on contact. The tippman ones need to be hurled at the ground.

yeah, I too was wondering if they were offering any bulk packages like Atomic used to on the Big Boys before they were absorbed by Tippmann... I tend to stock up on grenades and I always thought it was nice to be able to save a few bucks by buying a case of 20-25 or whatever.
