well if you want to see a pic of the 04 iron men you would have to go to bobs teams thread. the ironmen that you be speaking of was a team called "the men."

The Ironmen name goes back more than 10 yrs before that. Bob Long used to be captain of the Ironmen, then he had a split with the team, and at one time, both Ironmen and Bob Long's Ironmen were playing NPPL as Pro teams (back in the 10 man days). Of course, now I can't remember when Bob Long's Ironmen stopped playing. If it wasn't before 2004, then you have to ask yourself which Ironmen team you're speaking of.

Bob was asked to retire in 96 after an 11th place finish in Orlando..not ready to fade away he took Rich Telford, the captain of the SC Ironmen and BOB LONGS IRONMEN were born..they went on to beat *** take 1st at Toulhouse and place in the top a while..

They continued to play under Bob Long's Ironmen on and off for some time, if I recall correctly. During the time of the Oakland Assassins, they played under Bob Long's Ironmen in the NPPL because the NXL wasn't allowing teams to use their franchise names in other leagues. This is the same reason that Chicago Aftershock played NPPL as Shock for a while.
