Man v. Food Challenges

For those who seen this show. How many of you had a chance to try one of the challenges feature on the show?

I did the Orochon Ramen Challange.

I finished it and got my picture on the wall. It was good, and I enjoy spicy food...but my body hated me for it. lol

The problem for me was not how spicy it was, the issue was the volume and temperature. It was difficult, but I finished it with 10 minutes to spare.

Let me know if any one of you guys had a chance to try a challenge from the show or any other food challenges.

the only challenge I saw him do in MN was some long saugage he ate. I am not a fan of sausage

Eagles Deli in Boston (Brighton), is a 15 min walk down the road from my apartment. Their Challenge is a 5 pound burger with 20 pieces of bacon and cheese and as an added bonus 5 pounds of fries. I have never even wanted to attempt it (it also costs $60) but I have finished one of the two pound burgers with 1/2 pound of fries specials (nothing amazing but yeah lots of ketchup)

is it even possible to fit that much food in you at once? thats like 6lbs of food that you have to eat. doesnt seem possible.

Ill tell you after you finish it you feel absolutely miserable and I was forcing the last of it down as best I could.

As to the possibility of finishing the Eagles Challenge, we'll have to wait and see. The challenge prior to the current 5 pounder was a 4 pounder with 16 slices of bacon and cheese and 5 pounds of fries referred to as the Paul Jones. Once you're the first to finish it they name it after you.

I love burgers and fries but I don't think I would be able to do that. Is there a prize for finishing it other than naming it after you?

The big mamas and papas pizza challenge is close to me. 5 people have to finish a 54x54 inch pizza in 2 hours and if you do you get $1000 cash for the team

I live near Kennesaw, Ga with Big Pie in the Sky pizza where he did the Carnivore Challenge... No chance of me doing that, their slices are the size of a small child.

Us Nebraskans like our beef still moo-ing it's so rare.

If anyone has ever seen the Lucky's challenge in chicago, I go there all the time. But I've never tried the challenge, I can hardly finish one sandwich.
