Demon bolt modding?

So i just got a team avalanche demon 2013ed and the gun has been used and abused. There is like 50,000 shots on so the internals are raw and scuffed up. I see that pooty has a polished annoed demon bolt. Can someone tap the inside of the bolt so it can work with the 2013 internals and the spring? I polished the bolt i have, but it has some deep grooves in the bolt. Can someone mod the stock bolt to work on a 2013?

2012 bolt has less meat in it. the 2013 has a step inside where the spring rest. so to answer your question, the stock 2012 bolt can not be modded to be used with the spring.

Thats what the new board says because they replaced it awhile ago. The bolt has some good grooves in it telling me it was used pretty good. It's not a problem i'm just rebuilding this gun so it is like almost new. The gun shoots good still. haha

Photos please

There should be no scuffs unless it is a machining defect, or dirt got inside and scratched it.

However, I did once work on someone's Demon that was bashed up like that too...

Just shoot that god dam gun don't worry about scratches or making it look new, eventually they will get scratches dings no matter how careful you are.

Heck ya, if it works leave it alone and enjoy. A scruffed working gun in hand is worth three pretty unused ones in the closet.

If you spring mod the 2012 bolt, you will change the ID of the rear of the bolt causing it to be non functional.

The sprung 2012 bolts are the same as the ones in the 2013 Demons

2012 Bolt

2013 Bolt

2012 Bolt

2013 Bolt

I can see the outside of your bolt is nice and buttery smooth at the back. Mine had a bunch of scratches and even when i buff the bolt I cant get rid of the deep ones. ill try and get some pictures
