Licensing interview went well yesterday morning, but due to lack of manpower and the flood of applications it can take 4 months till I recieve my license. Spent more time chatting about paintball than anything with the officer. Already got my first piece lined up, S&W M&P full size 9mm, two mags 100 rounds and a couple of holsters with a 5lb trigger job for $550. Only downside is because it was manufactured after 1994 I can only legally posses 10 round mags in Mass.... There is going to be a lot of speedloading drills in my future.

Nice. NC passed a law a couple years ago that there is a MAXIMUM wait period of 45 days, vs. the prior wait period of 90 days, and I'm really glad they did. They would really push the 90 day limit, and still push the 45 day limit.

And I wouldn't be too disgruntled about 10-rounds. I carry a G26 99% of the time, and I carry 10+1.

Then again, I do carry a 19-round backup magazine most of the time.

I would have prefred the P85 with the three 18 round mags, the quickest reload is the one that doesn't happen. Im confident enough my first round will land where I want it. I'll have to find a comfy holster and practice drawing. We have a 40 day max in Mass but that's getting shat all over by the dip****s in control. Im just gonna get one more mag, some dummy rounds, and start piling up ammo whenever I can find it.

True, but you ought to have a reload with you anyway. Less for capacity, more for possible malfunctions. If a decent auto malfunctions, it's most likely the magazine.

And that's a solid plan. I started piling up ammo a couple years ago, and I'm really glad I did, looking at how things are now. 1 box every time I went to Wally World.

Oh, and for a good holster, the Nate Squared Pro holster is by far the most comfortable holster I've used for IWB. It's suede

I'll have get one of those rigs. I like the idea of the big back panel keeping the butt from digging into my fat lol I'm large framed as well as husky, so a regular high ride holster doesnt stick out too much on me.
