I wanna cry for Favre right now

Man, this poor guy cant catch a break right now. Throws a bullet to Ferguson, who gets it taken away by Lucas, then Davis scores to make it 23-7 w/ 3 minutes left in the half.

Man, Favre is the man, and goddamnit he doesnt deserve to go out like this.

Brett Favre is a good guy and has fought through a lot of adversities. However, he should hang up his helmet this year and spend more time with Deanna and the rest of his family.

100% positive he will after this year. But its just so sad to see Favre not be able to over come the troubles of his team.

Classic case of the guy who played a year too long. Granted, his team definetly isn't helping. But when you are a QB like Favre and make risky decisions on the field, you are either going to succeed or fail miserably. Unfortunately for Favre and the rest of the Packers, they are doing the latter rather than the former.

Yea, I was just telling my friend the same exact thing. hes a risk taker, and in the past he had people around him to bail him out when he made a mistake, and I belive if Walker was healthy, and they hadnt let there two tackles go, they'd be a far superior team right.

he should have been smart and retired before this season. or he could have taken a small role in the guiding of the newly drafted QB, who i completely forgot his name. I can see what he is coming from though, he has a passion for playing football, but he is going through a hard time in his life, plus he is getting old, and spending more time with his family would be a great thing for him.

In my opinion Brett Favre is a fighter. He has lost more relatives in the past 2 years to Death than post people do in five. His family home was lost in Katrina. His mother has cancer (so I have heard has not been proven). This guy deserves exta pay in the NFL for still playing through all of those situations. Any other snot-nosed player (T.O., Ricky Williams) would have ran away and still expected to get paid. Kudos and my hat off to Brett Favre.

I am very disappointed in calolinas defence, they played like crap. The secondary gave up every short pass possible, and the pass rush disappeared.

As much as i love seeing my team win i really do feel bad for Brett. He is one of my favorite qb's and that game shows he still has it in him to play. If so many packers wernt hurt this season would be a lot different for him. The thing is people think hes old and he cant play, but the reality of it is he had a GREAT game. He didnt put up Mcnabb numbers, but 4tds and only 1? pic, thats not bad at all.

I am not saying the packers will get into the playoffs even though I am a fan but last year they started off 1-4 and they started doing good and made the playoffs. If they win next week they would be 1-4 so who knows maybe they will get some confidence after a win.

After watching last nights game i believe they are the best team in their division.

Bret carried that entire comeback squarly on his shoulders.. People who say that he is past his prime and has no game left are simply retarded.. He was playing like he was 23 years old out their..
