I was the original Manual Specialist but when Ron Nelson was no longer in charge of Bob's operation, people at BLAST slacked big time and in the end I was thrown under the bus and took all of the blame when I had NOTHING to do with ANY delays EVER. Not on any of the work I did for Bob. In fact when the GEN4 Timmys were released I drove to World Cup with the Mini CD Manuals so the manuals would be there in the nick of time. It was very close but those manuals made it on time.

This MARQ Manual however... Well, it's completed on my end as far as I'm concerned. There's one rendering I've been waiting on for 2 years which is completely out of my control. Even still what is in there is definitive enough for everyone to be able to tech their own MARQ.

What about a manual for the Marq's (6, 7, Rapper, RL and Closer) with complete o-ring charts for both the original fire engine and the new profiency engine.

I think there is a need for a manual like this.

PS This is in no way any criticism of the_incubus work, it was plenty good.

Never worked for BLAST. I worked with BLAST/Bob.

Jasse,

The MARQ Manual is as complete and concise as was necessary at the time it was produced. There was no Proficiency Engine as that was designed over a full year later. Glad you appreciate the Actual Size O-ring Charts I created but don't hold your breath for it to be revamped to include on for the PE.

Yeah, I know you won't update the manual you did, it was a little hint to "xeese"
as I assume he is doing the new manuals that are available from boblongdirect.com's download page.
On that page there's manuals for all old timmys and the M-tac, but not the Marq's.

Proficiency engine guide will be a standalone guide. Feel free to PM me with anything you want to see in a guide. The 360 regs, on/offs, etc will eventually get their own guides.

Don't get me wrong Terry!

If, The international like me or someone else in the rest of the world have the problem with bob long products...How should we do?...Make a call?...Or fix it by our ownself?

I had send some e-mail before(Online ordering)...But, It's doesn't work

Anyway, I just bought the victory "Lime Green" & Pressure Tester...(But, It's on it's way to my country)...And, I hope my victory will work fine...Cuz, I don't wanna get any issue or trouble like some people in this forums tho.

Regard
Noung

Noung,

You have to realize that in these types of forums most of the posts will be related to issues/problems BUT they are not representative or as misleading as to how many units present with problems. Having said that, MOST of the issues people encounter are user error and they stem from anything like over tinkering with their board settings, not utilizing the proper pressure testers or not adjusting velocity over a proper chronograph, lack of maintenance/neglect (I'd venture to say this is the most common one), using random lubricants, damage to components inflicted by the user, etc.

The vast majority of Bob's Markers operate without any hitches/glitches and if the user knows how to, and does take the time to care for their Marker PROPERLY, they should probably never have a single issue with it.

For example, my Texas Storm Timmy is the oldest of My Markers and it has never once presented with a single issue. I keep it clean, lubed, give it a lot of love, and make sure it sees the very first action on Sundays just to keep it happy.

Giving the Manual a good thorough read would teach you how to work on your own Marker. Hopefully the Victory Manual will be done for you guys SOON though it's simplified design is easy enough to figure out if you have a little mechanical know how.

Manual is up on the BL Website. Updated version with the engine renderings, etc is in the works.

One note on the manual - someone else had to make the .pdf since I am travelling. I get home late tonight and will get it cleaned up/a new .pdf created. As always please PM me if you have any specific requests or additions that you would like to see.

You gas up the marker, strap on the mask, and walk onto the field.. it doesn't matter that you failed a test, that your girlfriend broke up with you last night, or that you got a ticket on the way there... your world is right for the next couple hours, this is your heaven on earth.. live it.. love it.. Paintball 4 life..

Wow, the Victory Manual looks like a Manual you would've gotten back when I first got into the sport almost 17 years ago. Doesn't do the Marker or its quality any justice. What a shame.
