this makes me sad

but i can understand the confusion.

Audi used the 3.0T badge meaning "forced induction" , not just turbo like one would assume
.

Thus why I am replacing the stupid 3.0 T badge with the supercharged one.

ecs tuning has fast shipping.

going to order more stuff at the end of the week. not sure if it will be everything or not. I'm trying to figure out if I want 255 or 265 tires, so maybe I'll hold off on those. I'm tempted to go 20s too, but I think with the NE roads I should stick to my original plan of 19s.

19" tires are hard to come by, and expensive when you do.

Soooo.... I started having erratic boost monday after work. Super laggy, builds very slow, peaks at 15psi (previously 20). Went through all this trouble diagnosing it, talking with a buddy that's a builder. Ordered a new Manual boost controller (current one was **** anyway). Finally got to put a pressure tester cap on it, come to find a nice 6-8 inch long crack in my intake manifold, lol.

Lucky me though, a guy is selling a matching AEB runner, driver side throttle body manifold on Vortex, so I'm snagging it while my JB-Weld dries, haha.

Oh, and I bought new strut bushings and bearings with my MBC.

I think I drove one of those. TBH it didn't feel that fast. I was expecting to be like "omg I need this now," but it didn't happen.

What did you drive?

That's just APR Stage II. Exhaust, intake, pulley, software.

Hmmm... heatsoak? You sure it had pulley and not just stage I?

Also, if it had recently been tuned, it takes a while to adapt. Difference between first day with tune and a week later is pretty astounding.

Not sure. I'm 90% that it had a pulley.

edit - checked his thread. It's APR stage 2+. AWE exhaust (no downpipes, iirc), intake, H&R coils.

Hmmm interesting.

Cold weather definitely benefits these cars, maybe that's it.
