Hey, I don't know if anyone reads these threads or not anymore, but I bought a mini off a guy named Rob on here(awesome guy, awesome marker, awesome price, I think his name is like robdola or something.) anyway, I was pissed cuz when I got it my old freak barrel from my shocktech tremor cocker didnt fit in it. I thought somethin was wrong, found these forums/other info on internet, and figured I was screwed.

Well to try to keep this short, my dad owns a rod shop and has a nice machine that spins cylinders very fast... Threw the barrel in there, sanded down with sandpaper the beginning of the freak back(everything up til the threads) and eventually it worked. It took like 20 mins of sanding and testing but it works fine now.

If anyone reading this has had the same problem, try what I have done, and if you can't get it to work/dont believe me, ship me your freak back and I'll fix it for a few bux xD

I have a mini I guess is v2 or v3. I say guess because: It came in a box, has new detents, new reg, new gauge, but I have a dac and a first run dye barrels that will not fit the body. I also have a old j&j crome over brass that will fit. When I say old I mean 15 years old. Just wondering If some how I have a ver 1 body some how. The two barrels are.010 larger tham the ones that fit (o.d. behind the threads) Any thoughts?

There are no versions of the markers; Only the parts that are inside of it.


If it doesn't fit, then it is very possible that you have an older style body.

but my bolt is blue, and the rubber tip seems to be longer than the one pictured on the first post, is this a new generation bolt or an aftermarket one???

if you recently ordered it then youll get the newest version.

i also have the barrel problem, I have a version 1 with everything version 3, and my nightstick is a very very tight fit, wont even screw in all the way. My brother has a version3 and it fits on his gun perfectly, so there are a couple tiny little differences i guess between bodies on the different versions, but nothing major that will make a big difference.

you can spring for a new players parts kit, it contains the v3 poppet/spring, extra face seal, 3 check valves, complete v3 ball detents, and all the orings and screws you'd ever need.
