ah well, I didn't want unlimited internet or data, so that's the reason why the BB would be a lot more.

when the instinct comes out, bell is going to offer an unlimited internet/email/data/whatever plan for $10, so there is no reason not to grab it.

Which of these would you guys recommend and why?
-Blackberry Pearl

-Samsung Ace
-Nokia N95 (not exactly like the others, but considering)
-Motorola Q9
-Samsung BlackJack
So, which one would you guys go with? Once I get firm on which of these is best, then I am going to look at that, the iPhone and the Instinct in-depth and decide.
Thanks for the help.

Blackberry's are good if you do a lot of business stuff with them, you can sync them with your company stuff too which is cool. I would take a curve over the pearl because it has the full keyboard.
Black jack (the 2 is the new and better one) is a great media phone. Where blackberry is a pda phone meant for business, the Blackjack is meant for media so if you want the music and video stuff, go with the blackjack.
Not sure about the other phones.

it's windows. they can do pretty much anything with it, and have.
1 reason NOT to get the Instinct: Sprint.

I'm in Canada. The Instinct is coming to Bell, which is the best service provider up here imo. I would rather the iPhone, but it is with Rogers, our 2nd best service provider, but with a plan that would be $10/month more. Just have to decide if the trade is worth it, then I can decide between whichever I choose of those, and a normal, tactile phone.

oooooooh, go me
personally I'd prefer the tactile, bc I like to text discreetly, and it's easier to do that with a physical keyboard. [drool]However, the iphone's browser does tempt me.[/drool] But according to an AT&T field tester on crackberry's forums, the Bold has a full HTML browser
I guess you couldn't go wrong with the Instinct, it's Sprint's best selling 3G phone ever. and as always, cheaper is better on plans

haha, that's a good point. i do have the unlimited data plan, which is like $30/month. it's worth it, i think. just having internet, blogs, e-mail, downloadable games, 411, it's worth it to me. google maps mobile is just my favorite of the bunch. they definitely should do something with that, though, it's like a meg download every time. oh well.

damn this is pissing me off, my blackjack II internet works fine for a while and then out of nowhere it gets errors, the only way to fix it is to either turn media net on and off or to shut the phone off and turn it back on.
anyone know why this would happen? is there any better browsers than IE
