how fast can the bko shoot?

hey it says here paintball.com that the bko can only do 10 bps. is this ture because i have a few friends interested in buying this but dont want to be shooting the same speed as their spyders.

The bko shoots 10bps. That is more that enough speed to be competitive, and in most cases will easily outshoot a mechanical blowback. There are upgrades coming that will raise the ROF from goldie and I think defiance as well.

Next time do a search. there are like 20 threads with this info in it already....

And I doubt your friends can rip 10 bps on their spyders.

10 bps is enough t be competive sure but that is quite a low number compared to other electronicly controlled matkers.

and yes i know a few ppl that can do 10 bps on their spyders but all of them have very good trigger jobs.

does anybody know why it is so low? i mean isn't 13 sort of the standard? what type of upgrades are needed to increase the rof or is the board capped?

10bps on a spyder...it would fall apart. Do a search next time. There are countless threads on the BkO. Its made to be a cheaper electro. You dont find like 19 BPS On a spyder electro, right?

It takes 1 ball to get someone out, not 19/sec.

rof

why is everyone concerned with just rof, jesus this makes no sense, i seen people shoot 5 pods and not hit anyone and their unloading their hoppers in 10 seconds...........

I've also seen one back player keep down an entire 3-man frontline in a tournament ripping 12 bps plus on a matrix without breaking a sweat. There are purposes sometimes for shooting so much, but you can accomplish something with 10 bps like you can with 13 bps.

mr mich

i was getting at people talk about rof like it's the only reason they should buy a marker, and they act like it's the most important thing... i agree back players do need to shoot a lot of paint but as long as they keep a consistant flow of paint streaming then 10 bps should be more than sufficient............

Thanks for restating what I just posted.

I've said it a million times on this board and I'll say it again, it takes 1 ball to get someone out. The most important factor in a gun (for me) is comfort. Then reliability, then the company backing it.

10 bps

Well when we tested the prototype we felt the the spring assisted cylinder could only keep up with about 10bps. But in further testing we found that it will work fine up to 14bps.

Ask any BKO owner if there BKO seems slow. I bet ya they say HELL NO!!!
