Looks like its in prototype stages right now. Very clean smooth flowing milling, looks light and having owned over 13 timmys myself i know this will be a quality product.

Spool valve has a set amount of stored air to shoot a ball. Meaning when the bolt is moving it cuts off the supply to this chamber, at the end of the bolt travel it opens that stored air to the bolt to push the ball.

Poppet style never shuts off the supply of air behind the valve. The bolt pushes forward somewhere at the end of that travel, a hammer will hit the poppet breaking the seal (cupseal) to allow air to pass through. In this time when the hammer hits, you have air pressure and a spring that are trying to close the valve. Allowing a timed opening of air to the ball. Never does this shut off the supply. Making these 2 type valve completely different.

yes, but the PbNation system closed it because it was too big and when someone would open the page it would have more stress on the system than a smaller thread would have. They usually close after 2000 posts.


That bolt system looks cool, almost like a angel ram but the hammer is replaced by the bolt. I don't know why tippmann didn't do this and integrate the bolt, ram, and valve and eliminate that damn pump arm. If Bob can make it look better and not like an ion, ill consider picking one up.

Yeah, BL will wait till the initial sales rush is over. Then he'll sell rights to hybrid and spark new interest in the platform with a new hybrid release.
