Vlocity Boost CPB pack

I've just got Vlocity boost cpb pack.
It's 14.4V pack, but i've measured and found 15.7V in it. (it has came charged).

Is it safe to use it ?
What is charger settings should I use to charge it latter - 12.6 or 16.8 V ??

Those boost packs make those VLocities FLY.

They are pretty fast to start with. On setting 8 you can get a burst rate of over 50BPS. How? My cockers CON setting is 0.040, and it takes 0.020s for the bolt to open. If you do the math the burst speed is 50BPS. This is not the feed rate, but rather the rate that the ball will enter my cockers breach before my bolt closes. At this low CON setting my velocity at setting 1 will not feed the marker since gravity can only have a burst speed of 17.6 bps ( yes I did all the math and assuming that there is no drag at all). at gravity feed the time is only 0.058s, so the ball will not enter my breach. Rem these are not feed rates, but rather the burst rate for the first ball in the stack to enter the breach.

brain,

The VLocity loaders have a voltage regulator to protect the motor....so...no problem with running higher voltage inputs.

Just got my Vlocity Boost pack yesterday. After a little modification to the battery compartment, and putting the new battery connector in, I was ready to test it. I was surprised at how much faster the cone seemed to be spinning. I am going to raise the tension setting from 2 to 3 and see how long it will last before charging. So far it seems to be a very good investment, and should pay for itself overt time.

Not 100% sure but I think it maybe lighter than the ninevolts.

Thanks Griff. I just bought one.

but i do have a few questions. First of all i have bought a HALO boost pack when it first came out and i absolutely loved it.

So here it goes
1- I was wondering why the vlocity MAH is soo much lower compared to the other boost batteries.
2- I believe my vlocity has the "Ghost" problem and cant shoot over 12 bps. Will the boost batteries solve that?
3- This wont damage my vlocity's internals right?

Thanks!

I am not sure about the technical stuff, but my Vlocity seems to runs much better now.
