QEV installs for the ION paintjobs and carbon fiber too!! VIDEO!!!!

First off. What does the QEV do? Before we get to that, lest discus how the ION works.
The ION is a blow forward marker. That means that the operating pressure of the gun is charged at the back of the bolt and ready to fire. When fired the bolt is propelled forward by the pressure at the back, at a certain point the air is allowed around the bolt to flow threw it and propel the paintball forward.
We know what makes the bolt go forward now, but how is held back?
The solenoid has a smaller gauge line (auto cocker pneumatic line) that supplies a port on the bottom of the body just forward of the bolt. The solenoid supplies this line with the same amount of pressure (180 psi factory default) but the pressure is applied to a larger surface area (sail). This means that it will overcome the same pressure being applied to the back of the bolt which in turn holds it back. When the marker is fired the pressure from the front of the bolt is release and has to travel back to the solenoid where it vents out of the bottom. After the shot, the solenoid charges the line again forcing the bolt back.
The dwell setting is how long the solenoid stays open to supply air for the shot. So the faster the bolt moves forward the lower the dwell setting can be.

Here is where the QEV comes into play. By placing a QEV (Quick Exhaust Valve) at the inlet/outlet for the sail, we can greatly reduce the amount of time it would take to vent the pressure that is slowing the bolts progression forward. An additional Added advantage is that any lube that would otherwise be forced back to the noid can now be vented at the QEV.

What can you expect by installing this mod?
1. Faster cycling speeds resulting in a lower dwell setting.
2. Grease trap that will prevent grit and grime from clogging the noid
3. Increased efficiency.
(borrowed from jaggy13 in his FAQ thread)

OK this will be a very professional install using an Eclipse QEV as shown (color may vary) as you can see by the pics. The way I do this mod also allows you remove the body by removing only the banjo fitting in the grip frame. Yep thats right no more unscrewing any banjos or QEVs from the body for a long time. (there will be a vid up soon to show the ease of removing your shell).

I will also be offering paint jobs and carbon fiberizng of IONs as well

Prices are as follows:
ION QEV install 25$ includes first class return shipping if you wish to have it sent back some other way you are responsible for all shipping costs.

If you have your own QEV 15$ + return shipping

If you have your own QEV and want to install it your self but dont quite know or have the right tools to cut the shell
shell cutting 10$ plus return shipping

carbon fiber decal set installed on the gun for you 10$

Paint jobs:
single color: 15 + return shipping
2 color "fade" 20 + return shipping
chameleon 25 + return shipping

Feedback can be found in the link in my sig

JesseCJC: no you still have the screw in the break to hold it on but if you are worried I can remove the front part only so you do not have to remove the qev but still have to take out the banjo fitting to take the shell off

TeamUD: dont have pics right now due to the fact I will probably not do it to my current gun because I kinda like the color. If your intrested what color(s) would you want? Since I dont have pics to show off my work in that area I will pay the return shipping if you would like to have it done.
