markoo - I said if we had MORE than one.

And I kind of agree with you, Ballack is way past it. As a Chelsea fan, seeing Ballack play for the past 4~ years it is obvious. This season the only reason he played a part was thanks to an injured Essien and Mikel. Even starting regularly he was often a passenger, with maybe two or three notable performances all season long.

Germany will be fine.

By gut feeling do you mean because they have the most superstar filled and most expensive team? To buy the starting squad for Spain you'd need €565 million.

1. Spain 565M€
2. Brazil 515M€
3. France 450M€
4. England 440M€
5. Italia 400M€

I've been really impressed with the strides that Serbia has made over the past decade. They have a whole lot of young talent over there and they're starting to garner the attention of some top flight clubs.

Not many people mention Serbia because they've only existed as a country for a few years, Yugoslavia ended up splitting into Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia and now the talent is diluted. Still they have some big names...

Think of some of the best CBs in the world, they're Serbian. Manchester United's Vidic and Chelsea's Ivanovic. Probably the best center back combo in the world

Also Stankovic and Kolarov.

Yugoslavia would be a hell of a team if they still existed.

England actually have the highest. Consider people like Gerrard, Lampard, Terry, Carragher, Cole (both of them), and Lennon have never been sold and you get a damn expensive squad.

Good point. Had Gerrard gone to Chelsea (there's a 30 million pound fee right there), Terry gone to City (ungodly amount), Lamps to Inter (25+ mil), then you have a very pricey looking team.

emo - There's a VERY simple answer to that. What is your nationality?

I'm rooting for:
1)USA
2)Holland
3)France
4)Ghana

I'm still heartbroken that Croatia didn't qualify

Bull****, there is no way that England is worth more than Spain or Brazil even in a bizzaro universe. Who would offer a large transfer price for a English player except for an English club? The fact is that English players are simply highly valued ONLY in england, you'd never see Real Madrid pay big money for a English player.

I hate people like you. People who cheer for Brazil are like people who cheer for Manchester United or Real Madrid. ****ing glory hunters.

The worst thing about England fans is how overwroughtedly overrated the English Premier League is. Its almost as if they are willing to label a player world class simply because he plays for that ****ing Barkley's league.

WAGS? Please post.

Also just because I like Chelsea and Abramovich and Drogba doesn't mean I can't hate the Premier League and the English national team. **** everyone who thinks that the premier league is "the best league in the world".

La Liga is in debt to the tune of $3.xx billion and even teams that are placing 5th and etc are reporting incredible amount of debts and begging to be sold.

So that leaves bundesliga and Serie A...Please, go on.
