Empire Relay On/Off ASA

Howdy All,

I currently own a 1st gen mini and want to upgrade to the Relay ASA. Is it a descent product or will I be wasting my money? Also, does anyone else produce ASAs for the mini?

Thanks,

It's a good product if you want an On/Off for the Mini but that's really all it's providing for you. The only other choice is the NDZ ThreadSaver On/Off, which is cheaper but will move your tank further back a few inches.

I have the NDZ ThreadSaver On/Off

It works great and since I use a tiny 45/4500 tank it bumps it out just about exactly where I want it.

(Forgot to add that its almost 40%+ cheaper than the Empire On/Off)

The NDZ and the Relay are two different products though. While at first glance, they provide the same functionality, in reality, the Relay is doubling as a regulator and an on/off ASA.

In the long run, I would say in your case the Relay would be the better decision. You get the updated/newer/cleaner regulator as well as the ASA. They are both good products though, just throwing out some food for thought.
