Definitely. The lid is clear and looks like it should be brittle, but it's not by any means.

I would agree with you, however I think we'll see a delay in prices going down based on actual sale statics, which are not released to my knowledge.

Yep great products over all. Technology is not the issue, but options are. As far as hoppers go Dye, Virtue, and Empire all have similar products which I don't want to debate which is best. A couple of issues though. Multiple colors Empire NO. Capacity is won by Virtue by a few balls, and Dye has available a high capacity shell. Empire Loses again. I am not a fanboy of Dye or virtue necessarily, but I want colors and an extended nose cone for a Z2. And for those wondering what sits on my marker..... Prophecy V1 WITH LARGE CAPACITY NOSE CONE.

Agreed. Virtue has the fewest options at this point but that's because of how new the hopper is, and personally, I'm hoping for a high capacity shell for the Spire. The Prophecy Z2 has the speedfeeds and that's about it, which is a buzzkill compared to the original Prophecy's nose cone options, then the Rotor has colors, speedfeeds, and a high capacity shell. So, while it could be argued that one hopper has more options than another, it's only a marginal difference in the big picture.

It has roughly 40 over a stuffed Prophecy, the same with a Rotor, and then about 10-20 more than a high capacity shell. For someone that plays a lot of hopper ball like me that's pretty important.

I agree, Empire's biggest advantage was the versatility of the nose cones, they need to fix that for the Z2.

So I'm saying I agree with you that the price will drop on used products over time, but I believe it will be some time, I don't really think we will see a consistent price drop.

I have a rotor and by all means have zero problems with it, in the two years I've had it I've never had a problem with it. the first thing that I like is the smaller profile of the Spire.

Noticed not really, but I did think it funny that Dye lock lid pods seemingly over fill the rotor. I had to switch to the smaller pods offered by other companies. Yes yes I know someone will say the rotor will hold the 140 balls the lock lids carry, but I don't shot my hopper dead dry before reloading it.

On the second note. I own hoppers from all three companies, but not the newest prophecy because of it capacity. Problems with these hoppers? NOPE

Personally, I've seen that the Rotor usually holds ~180 paintballs that are .685-.690 and the Spire held ~220 from the same bag.

Loved the nose cone options of the prophecys and the color kits. Z2 hands down needs color options. I personally colored swapped my shells so its half white half black.
