The Official Cocker Parts Trading Thread
Ok so we've had the go ahead from JoshGrrrr to post this up, so here it is, the thread all the parts gurus have been waiting for - The Cocker Parts Trading Thread.
Rules - Don’t post anything but Cocker compatible Parts you want to trade for other parts.
- Follow the accepted safe rules for trading, view feedback and deal with people you can trust, or at least have some assurance like they ship first.
- Don’t flame, go off topic or do anything retarded that could get the thread locked.
- Free stuff is OK
- If you want to make a cash offer on something, do it through PM's. I can't stress this enough, please try and trade wherever possible.
- It's up to all of you to stick to these rules, this thread will hopefully be an incredibly useful source for getting rarer cocker parts at a good price - so please, please don't screw this up. If you see a bad post report it, and don't go off topic.
- Members of the council are entitled to tell you what you can and can't post up here, please listen to them. If you're unsure you can always ask them via PM.
- Pictures are useful, use them to your advantage, but once again, don't abuse this.
- When posting, try to be as specific as possible, not like 'cocker body' but more like '2k3 Black Superstock Body' and it shall help your trade.
- Rare things that wouldn't necessarily fall under the parts category, such as rare types of cockers, Oddball bits etc. can be offered here for trade, or listed as wanted, at the discretion of the council, so the cocker forums have a means of basically showing these things to the people who would be most interested, and specifically get the most use out of something that rare.
Rules adapted from AKA forum rules, all credit where it's due to pb_matrix...

I'm sure we all have random cocker stuff laying around. One man's trash is another man's treasure. I'm sure this holds true here. A part swap would be beneficial IMHO.

This thread is a very good idea, especially since cockers are pretty much phased out commercially. parts are getting very hard to find now that they're out of production.
personally, I may need a ram, preferably an sto but i'll look at anything. Actually, a nice nexus would be nice, if anyone has one laying around.
I'm also looking to trade my wgp hinge frame for a slider (i know this is the electro forum, but it's worth a shot)

I know it's not the B/S/T forums, but after searching for a specific part for literally weeks of constant trawling, it would make life so much easier than 'Miscellaneous Items'...
Was just thinking out loud... sorry if it's been discussed before.

Actually, I vote we start a new thread and make sure to post some rules, just like in the AKA forum. Their trading thread stays under control because of them.
