Hey guys,

I'm not sure how many folks here are familiar with the eigenring, but it's a simple device released by Lurker that increases efficiency in DM's and PM's. It works by trapping a small amount of air behind the ring and when the dump pressure vents the ring slides forward maintaining a higher pressure in the dump chamber during the shot.

The hollow bolt guide of the luxe allows easy creation of a similar device. I briefly tested a quick prototype made from the shaft of a Papermate pen (selected for it's diameter and small vents in the tip) and some orings. The prototype broke before I could get efficiency numbers, but reaching velocity was no problem and the device did indeed cycle within the bolt guide during each shot.

Does someone with more technical prowess and the ability to machine delrin want to take a crack at this project?

Requirements of the device:
- Low mass to avoid the creation of kick
- Oring to ride on the inside of bolt guide
- Small diameter vent to allow slow airflow through the device to facilitate cycling and allow the latch to vent

Obstacles to overcome:
- Finding the optimal length of device to achieve effectiveness without significantly increasing pressure (leading to venting noids or hard cycling)
- Adjusting the volume of air trapped behind the device to control cycling force
- If necessary, design a buffer system to prevent the device from being damaged as it strikes the front and back of the bolt guide

We'll I'll be buyer for a new Eigenbolt, Mini Poppet (IF it fits the Axe), and a Luxe efficiency booster, I'm going to use a Pooty Flat Face bolt unless this bolt is cheap and adds a lot off efficiency, and is super light reducing kick to nothing.

Won't really reduce kick (unless you can run lower pressures due to the better economy of dump chamber air).

Well lowering reciprocating mass would help and yes lower pressure would help too.

Alsois the poppet works for the axe also will there be a bundle price?
