Defiant Prob's

It was shooting fine on tuesday, now its not. The LED just stays on, and when i pull the trigger i can hear the micro-switch click, so that cant be the problem. I replaced the battery and that didnt fix it. I made sure all the connections where nice and tight. The blue wires are on the left side like there supposed to be. I just cant understand it, it was fine on tuesday and i didnt touch it since then. Defiance or ne one else have ne ideas whats wrong?

are your trigger stops loctited in place? if not it may have slipped to close to the switch, and isnt completing the circuit properly. Although if it was doing that I would think the light would stay off. But you are positive it clicks? did u open your gun up and try the test button on the selinoid? if it wont cycle while pushing that button you've got probs. Try that then post back here.

Did you try adjusting the trigger stops like P8nt suggested? Screw the bottom one out some and see if that fixes it and then update us

Its not that for 2 reasons..
1. it was clicking fine on tuesday
2. i can hear the micro-switch click when i push it, and besides the LED would be off, not on.

OK, you're probably right.. the trigger stop's are probably not the problem.... but try it anyway. Rule out all the simple stuff first and then skip to the harder problems to fix. Besides.. it's not going to hurt anything.

When you used the test button the gun cycles 100% normally? When aired up is your bolt in the cocked position? A shell chop could cause it to stay forward and not cycle. Or perhaps your gun is starving for air?

Thumbs up Try this....

Try ajusting the LPR.

Back it out untill the bolt comes forward and then turn it back in until the gun starts to shoot.

Tey this first and I will get back to ya....

yes the bolt it back, no theres no shell in it. And yes the test button cycles 100% normally, even shoots a ball, and yes there is air in it when i pressed the test button. And by clicking i didnt mean the loud clicking, i meant the soft clicking you hear when the gun is turned off and u pulll the trigger, meaning its not the trigger adjustment screws. And its not the pressure. It has to be something inbetweent he micro-switch and the board or solenoid.

And no its still not working.

When the trigger stop hits the grip frame it makes a click. Wish you try loosening the bottom stop first. If the switch was being made.. your LED would blink. Loosening the set screw would take all of 5 seconds and would be a good first step in fixing the gun.

Anyway.. check the wiring harness.. make sure all the wires are connected and are in good condition. Might have been pinched.. or kinked and the wires may be severed. Never know.

sounds like your micro switch is blown or your on/off is.. My on/off broke and the led wouldnt blink..and the gun wouldnt fire.. look at both of them..

later
