just wondering if someone could explain and give advice for a noob

I want to get a barrel kit. Looking at a frak for my new IOn

But I do not know for sure how they work tip wise. I understand that the bore size things go in the backs

but what about the fronts? what makes your ball still accurate if its out of the bore sleeve?

And what about difference in freak or All American fronts?
Thank you for helping this noob and all fellow noobs out there

The fronts are what make up your total barrel length including the back. This means when the front says its 12", it means the back and the front together make a 12 inch barrel. The fronts are also interchangeable with any different back, because the fronts have only one certain threading.

Yes, the ball is still accurate after if leaves the bore sleeve and enters the front. I'm not sure why, the balls come out of there so powerful it stays straight if you have a good paint to bore match.

The difference in the all-americans fronts and the freak fronts is the freak front has like a lip on the end of it whereas the all american is straight. The porting is also a little different between the two.

All-American Front:

Hey do you think we can get the phantom stock barrel up there? That would be great because people are always asking what the bore size on it is.
Thanks.

2 things
1- Has any recently purchased a pmi razzor barrel? I got one a few weeks ago and mine has a really small bore size. Im curious if anyone has one or if they know what fires good with it.

2- Im not new to paintball, but i never really bothered to understand the size match basics. What kind of fit do you want with the paint and the barrel? Do you want it so that it will glide down the barrel(if you hold it verticaly), do you want it so that it takes a little force to push it out(like blowing down the tube). Or do you want it so it fits tight and is actualy kind tought to push out?
