If you played L4 last year and you wanted to play 3man again this year. I would think the system would add up your appa points and reclassify you. If i would have to guess on what your classified based on appa i would say the system would have you as either D5 or maybe D4. Just an idea, im not for sure. But usually the appa system adds up points and then reclassify's players at the end of the season. This would be a question for George, I was just trying to give you an idea of how it might go.

since mps didnt give the scores and what not to appa, none of the past events count. There are some players that played open a few years ago that still can sign up for level 4

Unfortunately, the scores have counted. After having been bumped up to L1 by MPS rules after the 08' L2 season. We played 2 MPS L1 events and only finished middle of the pack. The L1 MPS multiplier kicked me up to a PSP D3 player. I've only played one national event (D4 race to 2) and we didn't make it to Sunday, yet because of the MPS bump rule it's difficult to find tournaments that I qualify for. I'm pretty sure there aren't any teams or players around here that fear my mad fatty paintball skills.

umm, thats strange, cuz i played l2 all year (since 2007ish), and still can sign up for level 4 for the last event.

Question, with the recent release of the PSP information on the fields size, Lay out is the MPS going to follow suite? If that is the case how can you assure players that layouts will not be leaked prior to the event that might give a hometeam an advantage over out of town teams.

George emailed me the changes and I will look them over. We have in the past asked the hosting fields that if they are going to have the same setup for the tourney up earlier that they release it for everyone to see. As far as guaranteeing it. I am not going to visit the host fields every weekend before the tourney we will just have to rely on 1. them being honest and 2. Paintballers letting us know.

Seems like it's a little too over priced on paint and little ambitious about how many teams are going to show up in order to have the good prizes.

Series prizes are being taken care of and should have them before the first event.

Wait a minute... We just bought out the series three days ago and we were just finding out information and if you dont think we were putting that on the top of our list you sir are wrong. We have already made arrangements to get those prizes to the series winners as fast as possible. I apologize if people have had negative experiences with the series in the past, but all I can say is the past is the past and we are looking at changing the series for the better. Jake and myself are competitive paintball players so not only are we looking out for the best interest in the series, but are looking out for the best interest in the players. I hope that past experiences dont keep paintball teams/players away because like i said this is a new year with new leadership and we have many changes that are in favor of the players.

Are we still going to have to attend the first event to collect our series prizes from last season? I know you guys might not have this sorted out yet, being under new management and all. Just would be nice to know if we should start planning our trip

No you will not have to attend to get the series prizes we are getting all series winners information to have them shipped directly. We do not expect people to drive to the event for a series prize because we all know the gas prices are extremely ridiculous!
